But when I arrived in Azalea I remembered the review “I don’t recommend it to those who have already been to good places on vacation." And so it happened. I’ll start everything in order: Even before arriving in Bulgaria, I contacted the hotel and asked in what currency they would accept my payment, since the price for the rooms was in euros. They told me that in There are no dollars, but they will accept euros, but preferably in leva. What a surprise it was for me when they didn’t want to accept euros and, of course, I had to take a taxi to Varna and exchange euros for leva. , that’s about 14 euros). at 9 am, everyone who came with us has already checked into the rooms!!! We wait... 30 minutes... 40 minutes... We go to the reception, in response: A little more, we wait again... 30 minutes. ... 40 minutes... When will these a little bit end? !!! Somehow there is a difference between “a little bit” and 5 hours!!! We would go for a walk or check into another hotel, anything is better than sitting on the sofa in the lobby for 5 hours. To make it clear, we arrived out of season and almost the entire hotel was free. If it were high season and there were no rooms available, I would understand everything... What can I say about the room. I liked the room, clean, good furniture, two single beds (can be connected), a large and roomy closet, plasma TV (3 channels in Russian), mini bar, bathrobes and towels. Of the minuses: the hairdryer did not work and the iron was in the ironing room on the 3rd floor. I had my own hairdryer. The hotel was almost empty, so there was no line to iron. I really liked the kitchen buffet). Prepared very tasty and with a wide variety. But as it turned out, they rejoiced early... There was a big holiday in Bulgaria at that time, I don’t know how many days they celebrated it, but we found it for two days. After the last Bulgarian left the hotel, they began to feed us what we had not eaten during the holidays... It got to the point that the chicken wings simply stank of rottenness, and the porridge was sour, the peels of the sliced ​​oranges had dried out. It also turned out that dinner does not include tea, coffee, jupi (they called it juice), or even boiling water!!! They brought a carafe of water to our table, which stank of bleach, obviously poured from the tap!!! When they started asking the waiters why they couldn’t even have boiling water, they answered without hesitation: “We have a shortage.” Oh God!!! For 57 euros they can’t even pour me boiling water!!! After complaints reached the hotel management. Azalea personnel attempted to revive. For the last two days, we (10 people from Ukraine and Russia) were well fed and even had tea for dinner. But as they say: The spoons were found, but the sediment remained. The good thing: the hotel is very close to the beach, no, not close, it is on the beach. You leave the hotel and immediately see the sea... The view from the room is gorgeous... There is WiFi in the lobby, not very fast, but there. Room cleaning is good - clean, but there is no shampoo, gel, etc. A cap and bath salts were provided in the room. There is a warm indoor pool with mineral water, sauna, gym - it's free. Within a 5-minute walk, there is a store and a bus stop to go to Varna (fare 1 lev, approximately 0.5 euros). Conclusion: - I cannot recommend this hotel!

We rested with our family at the "Azalia Hotel Bulgaria 4*" for 14 days from 06/20 to 07/04/2005. The country, resort and hotel were selected by
recommendations from an employee who vacationed there in September 2004, i.e. when was it built and opened

and Elena is very small and quiet resort. Vacationers are mainly pensioners and families with children. Certainly
Germans, but there are also plenty of Russian speakers. There were no problems with the language. Everyone understands and speaks well

Hotel Azalea, according to many vacationers, is the most beautiful hotel at this resort. Located right on sandy beach, there is also a swimming pool area, two slides for children, two bars. The water in the pool is warm, mineral, with a small addition of chlorine, which you don’t feel at all. Nearby in a neighboring hotel there is a swimming pool with hot mineral (hydrogen sulfide) water. Umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool are free, on the beach there is a fee. We took sun loungers by the pool and swam wherever we wanted. Nobody touched our towels or things. The area is constantly guarded by the hotel's security service. The beach itself is sandy and clean, but there are some cigarette butts
where they came across. The sea is very clean and beautiful (blue with a little turquoise). Even during the storm, the water was clean and we had great pleasure riding the waves. After the storm there was no debris, algae, etc. The hotel has a large hall with a reception, a lobby bar, soft sofas and tables. There are air conditioners everywhere and you feel comfortable no matter where you are. All rooms with a view! at sea.
The rooms are standard, clean, two large beds and one armchair, coffee table, desk, wardrobe, satellite TV, mini bar with refrigerator (for a fee), two large mirrors, telephone. The bathroom has a sink with a table, a large mirror, a toilet, a bathtub with a shower and a shelf for towels, and a telephone! Built-in air conditioner, individual use (works very quietly!) Double-glazed windows across the entire width of the room with sound insulation. Carpeting. On the balcony there is a table with two chairs and a drying rack. Room cleaning daily, bed changed every 3 days, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, salt
for the bath - replenished constantly. Towels (three types) were changed daily. Bathrobe.
The SPA center is good, there are many procedures for those who want to lose weight and improve their health. The center staff treats their work professionally, believe me as a doctor. Gym (small) free. An indoor pool with very warm water, there is also a sauna and a bar.
Meals in the hotel restaurant are served twice a day - buffet. There was no exotic, but the rest had everything: berries, fruits, vegetables, meat, soups, fish (salmon), cold cuts, pickles, confectionery, jams, honey, two types of tea, various coffees, milk (delicious), fermented milk products etc. Everything was prepared very tasty and satisfying, and there was plenty of it, so there was no need to wait. The tables are all set and clean, always
enough when you don’t come for breakfast or dinner. Used dishes were removed immediately. The restaurant itself
beautiful, you can go out to the open area of ​​the restaurant and admire the sea while eating. Whoever likes it. Minus one. Drinks at dinner are extra charge. Well, this problem can be solved. We bought cheap but delicious wine, juices, fruits and enjoying the evening on the balcony with a direct view of the beautiful sea, all this was pushed into an already full stomach. Despite the warning about the prohibition of bringing in products and
no one expressed their displeasure in our room; on the contrary, they took out empty dishes in the morning.
There is, one might say, no animation in the hotel. Entertainment for vacationers is the work of the vacationers themselves. Only twice in 2 weeks there was a performance by a Bulgarian folk dance group. Every evening in the lobby the same musician played a synthesizer and sang various foreign popular songs. There are no sports grounds or table tennis. Conducted a survey. The hotel is new, I hope they will take into account the wishes of all vacationers to improve the service. In the meantime, we walked more, swam, sunbathed, etc. Anyone who wants a comfortable and relaxing holiday is welcome to Azalea. And don't look for cons!!!
