They are going to build an original “bait” for tourists and residents of the capital in the Zaraisky district of the Moscow region - a hobbit village. A picturesque river slope, houses stylized as the holes of fairy-tale men, themed entertainment... sounds attractive, doesn’t it?

The concept of the project has not yet been worked out in detail, but the developers took as the basis for the architectural solution the same hobbit houses that are familiar to fantasy fans from the film adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. It is planned that up to 60 people will be able to stay in the village at the same time.

By the way, living in hobbit holes will not be the only way to involve guests in a fairy tale. So, on the Osetra slope they are going to organize role-playing games, comic fights, adventure competitions and other interesting activities for children, youth and adults.

According to the project developers, the terrain of the selected area is perfect for the construction of a small Hobbiton. However, the site does not yet have good transport support: before the fabulous object appears, the road leading to it will most likely have to be asphalted.

The real hobbit village - Hobbiton - is located in New Zealand, where, in fact, The Lord of the Rings was filmed. The village was built near the town of Matamata on the territory of a private sheep farm. Most of the scenery was destroyed after filming, but some remained and can still be seen today. Hundreds of fans of Tolkien's saga take advantage of this chance every day. A tour to Hobbiton costs about $50 and takes approximately three hours.

Russian Fairy Tales Park

A park of Russian fairy tales with corresponding thematic attractions may appear in New Moscow. At the end of last year, it became known that an investor who wished to remain anonymous was ready to invest in the domestic equivalent of Disneyland. Park provision engineering infrastructure will be funded by the city.

The park of Russian fairy tales, as stated by the head of the department for the development of new territories of the capital Vladimir Zhidkin, is planned to be located on an area of 400 hectares. Not only attractions will be built, but also a branch of the Moscow Zoo, a year-round ski slope, a water park and artificial ponds.

A suitable location for the park has not yet been chosen, but the authorities are considering New Moscow as a potential site - the thematic object will become one of 45 recreation areas planned for construction in the annexed territories.

Universal Film Park

Another idea is likely to come to life - a theme park for the Universal film company. It may appear at the intersection of Warsaw Highway and the Moscow Ring Road.

According to the project, the new indoor theme park entertainment will become part of the large-scale Galaxy Park. The park - if it is built, of course - will be the first such entertainment facility of an American film company in Europe and the fifth in the world.

Two Universal film parks operate in the United States, and another one is located in Japan and Singapore.

Safari Park

Deer, bison and llamas are going to be settled in Leninskie Gorki. This will not be a new zoo at all: a real safari will spread out on the territory of New Moscow.

It is not yet clear whether the safari park will actually be built, but this is not the first time that the idea of its appearance has been raised. Previously, it was planned to set up an area for animals, which could be passed by by car, in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain. The project even included construction cable car with closed booths so that those who are especially curious can watch the animals from above.

In the village of Kamenka, Zadonsky district, Lipetsk region, you can already walk through the field with wild animals. Here is the Kudykina Gora recreation park, which occupies an area of 500 hectares.

Deer, llamas, camels, horses and ostriches live here. In addition to meeting them, you will be able to jump on a trampoline, ride a horse and watch a circus show. And in winter, guests of Kudykina Gora will be invited to ski or skate and sit on ice skates.

Capital Disneyland

One of the most anticipated fairy-tale projects is, of course, Moscow Disneyland, the construction of which the capital’s authorities have been talking about for several years. For now, they are planning to build it outside the city, although previously the Nagatinskaya floodplain was also considered as a potential location.

Meanwhile, no matter how sad it may sound, most experts are confident that it will not be possible to build Disneyland in the form in which it exists in France or the United States in Moscow. The point is that in Russian capital The climate is completely different, and such an amusement park will not be able to operate in the same mode as in the West. A grandiose building simply will not pay for itself in 3-4 warm months per year.

The news has already hit the Western media, and it is likely that Zaraysk will in the near future become a place of pilgrimage not only for Russian, but also for foreign fans.

In total, the list of investment projects includes 12 items, including a sleep clinic, recreation centers “Okhotnichya Zaimka” and “Far Roll”. As part of the program, it is planned to create a recreational zone “Zaraisky Kremlin - White Well - Great Field” with hotels and sports facilities, a pedestrian zone in the historical part of the city and several separate hotels.

The city administration has decided to take care of young people: several hostels will be built for them, including for students who come for internships, competitions and seminars. Up to 900 people will be able to stay at all recreation centers at a time.

Due to these projects, within the framework of the so-called “hospitality concept,” the Moscow region authorities are going to increase revenues from the tourism industry to 420 million rubles per year and create new jobs.

Why this project is attractive and what other unusual ways they will attract tourists to Zaraisk, Alexey Loktev, deputy head of the Zaraisk district administration for territorial development, told in an interview with the portal “In the Moscow Region”.

- Alexey Vladimirovich, it is planned to build a “village of gnomes” in the Zaraisky district. How did this idea come about?

The idea arose as part of the implementation of the concept of the hospitality industry in the territory. We have powerful travel magnets that are, in our opinion, somewhat underrated. For example, in our region there is the Zaraisky Kremlin, built in 1531, while in the Moscow region only two Kremlins (Moscow and Zaraisky) have been preserved in their original form, and in Russia - eight. When we analyzed all this, compared it with the beauty of nature and added here the preserved old town, we realized that such a space must be preserved and made so that it works for the benefit of people. For example, this project will be interesting for residents of Moscow or Ryazan.

But for this you need to create the necessary conditions. The first thing to do is to be hospitable. After all, after you visit any tourist place, you need somewhere to eat, relax. Sites for hotels, restaurants, theme parks in the city, landscape parks, agricultural parks, tourist centers, sanatoriums, holiday homes in the area.

- Why exactly the hobbit village?

Obviously, the most grateful target audience is families with children and young people. If a family asks itself the question of how to spend the weekend, then it is obvious that it is necessary to create a product that will be of interest to both father, mother, and children. Therefore, the idea was born to create a “Hobbit Village” in our area. We have a very beautiful river, and it is on the banks that this “village” will look good.

- Who will create the village?

These projects (in the hospitality sector) are investment projects, so the question “who?” the investor answers. Interested companies are already contacting us and negotiations are underway with them.

- Are there any plans to invest budget money in this project?

There is a program to support tourism businesses. If the investors who contact us are serious, then we will help them draw up documents to receive compensation for communication costs through existing programs.

- How much do you think the implementation of this project might cost?

The amount will depend only on investors. The answer to this question can only be obtained by developing a project and drawing up an estimate.

- Please tell us what will happen in the “hobbit village”? How do you plan to attract visitors?

We believe that the word “entice” is inappropriate. If somewhere there is a harmonious space in which a person feels good, then people will discover it for themselves.

We would implement this project as a space where people find themselves in a kind of game, that is, they don’t just come to relax, but are immediately involved in the process. People today, on the one hand, are overloaded in the metropolis - they are either stuck in traffic jams, or in stores, or at work; on the other hand, they become isolated and experience a lack of normal human communication. The hospitality industry proposes to change the approach - people should come not only to look at the walls of monasteries and temples, but to come to people. Then a joyful feeling arises, there is an intellectual and energetic exchange, the process becomes alive.

- Will you cooperate with tour operators?

Undoubtedly. By the way, they have already expressed a desire to work with us.

- Have you calculated how many people will be able to come to you on vacation?

There will be approximately 800 to 1000 beds, it all depends on the investors and the speed of implementation of their projects. Also, this figure will be influenced by the market itself.

- Do you think foreigners might be interested in such a holiday?

I think definitely yes. Firstly, a foreign tourist is a grateful tourist, with a certain culture of visiting world tourist centers. Analyzing tourist flows in Moscow, we come to the conclusion that a very large percentage is business tourism. These are people who came on business and will not forgive themselves if they do not visit a number of certain cultural places. Some come once, others go regularly and are unlikely to go to the Tretyakov Gallery every time. People want to see something new.

We don’t have many places where we can bring a person, and which would combine a historical “magnet”, not a remake, and the environment around him. Zaraisky district - what is it? unique place, where the tourist magnet has been preserved, and the environment and recreational potential - clean air, river, beautiful nature. This will be in demand if done properly.

- How many jobs can be created thanks to the project?

Although we know that the Soviet country was not the most hospitable host, then it was believed that one person spending the night gives work to ten. That is, if we create 1000 beds, you can roughly understand how many jobs we will create for service personnel.

Young people have an incentive to live here and not leave. This is also the problem of small towns in Russia. The hospitality industry is important because it requires people in creative positions to be successful. These are not easy things to manage, for example, a historical park. You need to know a lot to tackle this project.

But you are now talking about young specialists. For promising positions, as you said at the beginning, you want to attract professionals.

But a professional cannot do it without a good young performer. He must pass on his experience, this is how a business is built. An investor comes, creates a product and leaves, transferring management to proven specialists. There is a motivation for young educated people to live and work in our area.

- What other projects are planned to be implemented within the Hospitality Industry?

In addition to the “hobbit village”, we have many more projects. We have this idea - a hunting lodge with an elk farm. The chosen place is unique; elk, wild boars, and roe deer live there. The idea is to create an eco-village on the shore, where you can rent a house and live. If you wish, you can go fishing or go hunting. You can come with your whole family. A man will go hunting to a specially designated place, and children and women will stay, they will study with them, they will not be bored. And so all year round, because in winter there are some pleasures, in summer there are others. This is for those who are tired of the metropolis. The idea is to fence off the forest area and feed the animals so that they live in a natural environment and people can safely communicate with them.

We have a huge number of people who don’t know the smell of the morning in the village, who haven’t seen a live cow, but only on a paper bag, who haven’t walked in silence barefoot in the dew... Instead, they know the smell of a hookah in a tavern and exhaust fumes, they hear noise, the roaring, roaring track.

There have already been investors who have moved to live with us from Moscow. They will implement the idea of an eco-farm on 18 hectares on the river bank. They understand the target audience very clearly, they know how many people are “into” this format today. There are companies that want to build hotels in the city, now we are working with them in terms of selecting land plots and determining the format, because it is very important for us to get competent investors. We are trying to find adequate investors who understand who their consumers are, who will be their neighbors to the right and left. We want to “make investors fall in love” with the sites offered to them.

We also have a medical project - we want to create a “Sleep Clinic”. There they will treat both insomnia and other diseases. In our country there are methods, there are specialists. A person over 45 years of age should be checked for cancer once every six months. Why don't we do this? Because we don't have time. IN everyday life People sometimes don’t have time to go, say, get their teeth fixed. And here, while on vacation, they will be able to see a good doctor, and for this they do not need to travel far, stand in line - everything will be in one complex.

- How long will it take for construction if investors are found?

It all depends on the talent of investors. Some people already have money today, others need to go for bank support. These are questions for business entities. Our experience is six months to a year of design, and if there is a project, then it can actually be built in a year. Thus, it comes out to two to three years. Why build: The initiator of the creation of the park in 2012 was the President of the Russian Geographical Society, Sergei Shoigu. According to the plan, the park should “fully reflect the positive processes and phenomena that have been occurring in Russian society in recent years” and become a point of attraction for tourists.

Inside this park, another one will be built, “Legends of Russia”, where, by analogy with the French Puy du Fou, reconstructions of historical events like the Battle of Borodino or Kulikovo will be carried out.

Why build: The authors of the idea call the main principles of the park “harmony, creation, mutual respect of religions, spiritual revival of Russia.” They don’t give a damn about science either: the goal is to demonstrate Russia’s contribution to the development of humanity and high technology - from space exploration to microbiology.

What will happen: In the center of the territory there will be a flattened ball with a glass tower - this is the “House of Peoples” center. The building symbolizes the grain from which the tower “Tree of Life” grows - “a symbol of new life and aspiration upward.” Around her - Orthodox Church, mosque, synagogue and Buddhist temple, which will operate as intended. It is also proposed to build a “Fountain of Peace and Goodness” in the park.

According to a representative of the Interreligious Council of Russia, the idea of the park is at the development stage, and the project is far from the final version. In particular, the council has not yet decided whether temples would be appropriate or whether entertainment facilities should be built there.

What will happen: The German architectural bureau TRIAD presented four possible concepts for the park: “Stargate” (spaceships, robots, aliens, an attraction simulating a flight to Mars, etc.), “Fantastic Russia” (characters of Russian folklore, shows based on fairy tales), “ New Moscow" (historical reconstructions of different eras) and "Adventures in Russia" (rope park, sports, defense training environment). So far the plan looks like this: from 2015 to 2017, investors are going to develop a territory for public events with an area of 34 hectares, an amphitheater with a large screen, a landscape park and a children’s playground “Valley of Fairy Tales”. In 2018–2019, sports grounds, an ice skating rink and a mini zoo will appear. By 2021, it is planned to build a cottage village for tourists with mini-baths.
