Stop "New Pulkovo Terminal" located opposite the exit from the arrivals hall

Pulkovo Airport is the only airport in the northern capital. It is considered third in Russia after the Moscow air hub in terms of passenger traffic. Pulkovo is the base airport for Rossiya Airlines.

On December 4, 2013, it opened at Pulkovo Airport new terminal, which is called “Terminal-1”. The building of the former Pulkovo-1 is directly adjacent to it, which forms one whole with the Terminal. The former Pulkovo-2 terminal is closed.

From March 28, 2014, all flights (domestic, international, all airlines) operate from the new Pulkovo terminal.

The new Pulkovo Airport is located in the “Moskovsky” district of St. Petersburg in close proximity to the old Pulkovo-1 terminal. The distance from the city center to the airport is 23 kilometers.

The departure area in the new Terminal is located on upper level ramp, and the arrival area is on the lower level, respectively, passengers disembarking from vehicles is carried out on the upper level, and boarding is on the lower level.

HOW TO GET THERE

The airport is quite well integrated into the capital's urban transport network, so getting to the center and back is not difficult. Runs near the airport large number ground transport. You can get there from Pulkovo Airport public transport according to the bus + metro scheme (a metro map of St. Petersburg can be viewed or downloaded), as well as by taxi or by rented car.

By bus

One of the closest metro stations to the airport is Moskovskaya. This is where buses and minibuses from Pulkovo arrive. The boarding area for transport to the airport is indicated on the map with a red arrow. To exit the Moskovskaya metro station on the blue line, take the first car from the center; in the transition, follow the signs.

  • Bus No. 39. The slowest way to get there from Pulkovo, travel time is about 35-40 minutes. Buses run every 12-20 minutes from 5:30 to 1:30. The fare is 40 rubles (+ luggage fee).

By taxi

At the airport, cases of “warming up” on tourists are very common. Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, at the exit from the airport you will inevitably be surrounded by local taxi drivers, who are popular and charge prices one higher than the other. There is an effective way to avoid getting into trouble with “extra tariffs”. One of the most effective alternatives is to call a taxi online. It is quite possible to catch a taxi at the airport terminal, but with this option, all risks are transferred to the passenger; the cost of a taxi may cost you 2 times more than the actual tariff. That is why it is advisable to issue pre order in the search form below. Your order confirmation will be sent to you by email, and the driver will be waiting at the exit from the arrivals area with a sign with your name on it. The driver can also help you with your luggage, and payment of the full cost will be made only after arriving at the place, which you will already know when booking a taxi.

If you don’t have a lot of money, but still want to travel comfortably, take a bus to Moskovskaya, and from there call any city taxi. A trip around the city will be 2-3 times cheaper: the minimum cost is 150-200 rubles.

By car

From the airport area you need to take the Pulkovskoye Highway, turn right and then turn towards the center of St. Petersburg. Further through Victory Square straight along Moskovsky Prospekt to the city center. And then - depending on the destination. To travel to residential areas of the city, it is more convenient to take the ring road.

— Access to the terminal (for boarding/dropping off passengers)

For a quick (1-2 minutes) disembarkation or meeting of passengers, you can drive directly to the entrance area to Terminal 1. To do this, when moving along the road to the terminal, after the “Arrivals/Departures” sign (to the right of the road) at the fork, keep to the right. Stop at the entry barrier, press the button and take the ticket. Next, if you need to go up to the departure level, keep to the right, the road will lead up. If you need the arrival level, then stay left. Parking in the entrance area to Terminal 1 is strictly prohibited.

If you stay in this zone for more than 10 minutes, you will be charged 700 rubles from the 11th to the 30th minute. From the 31st minute onwards - 700 rubles for every 30 minutes.

— Parking at the terminal

In front of Terminal 1 there are 4 paid parking zones for 2,500 cars, and free (unguarded) parking for 280 cars:

  • Located next to the new terminal, covered and paid parking ( P1 on the diagram). The cost of this parking is 200 rubles per hour, 700 rubles per day and 3,500 rubles per week. This is the parking area closest to the entrance to the terminal; you can walk to the airport building in 2-3 minutes.
  • Open paid parking spaces ( P2 And P3 on the diagram). From here you can walk to the airport in 5-7 minutes. Parking cost is 150 rubles per hour, 1000 rubles per day, 3400 rubles per week.

You can walk from here to the airport in 10-15 minutes. But this parking lot is not very large (280 spaces), so be prepared that there may not be any free spaces.
