In October, quite serious waves have already appeared on the main beach of Nha Trang. The water became a little colder. We will talk about this in more detail in our final post about Nha Trang in October. But what to do if you come here to relax or spend the winter at this time of year with a child?

We were puzzled by this question. For a baby, you need a beach with a gentle entrance to the water, sun-warmed water and no waves. There is such a beach in Nha Trang - this is Paragon Beach.

This beach is located within the city. You don’t have to drive for hours to get there or take an excursion like before and others. You can easily take a taxi for quite reasonable money - about 100,000 dong (200 rubles) or even less.

Paragon Beach is located in the south of the city, not far from the cable car to the Vinperl entertainment island in an area that can well be called the Vietnamese “ruble”. He didn't talk to us in .

Here is a map of Paragon Beach.

The city beach is municipal property, so if you sit with your towel on the sand, no one will say a word to you or charge you.

As for the waves, in winter and New Year's, from November to March, most of the time the waves are strong and swimming can be difficult. The beach area is formally divided into several zones; below you can watch a video of each zone. It is believed that the closer to the river, the more muddy the water. The sand here is white and clean, the water is clear. The depth changes smoothly, making swimming comfortable and safe. Waves are light or moderate, with special weather conditions You can surf here. On the beach there are two hotels, Jungle Beach and Wild Beach - hence the name of the beach. The territory of the Wild Beach Hotel is more well-groomed, but recently the Chinese have begun to be brought here en masse, although part of the beach has been set aside especially for guests and Chinese guests are trying not to be allowed into this area.

Overall, this is a beautiful beach with white sand and calm sea, surrounded by mountains and jungle. On the way to the beach, you will see a village whose inhabitants are not similar to those we see in Nha Trang.

To get to the beach you need to get to one of these hotels – Jungle Beach or Wild Beach (see the mark on the map). The beach is located about 60 km from Nha Trang. For a sun lounger you will be asked for 60 thousand dong (about 3 USD) c, in addition, you will need to pay “for swimming” - another 20 thousand dong (about 1 USD) per person.

7. Orchid Island Beach on the northern islands of Nha Trang

One of the most tranquil places for swimming is the Orchid Island beach. In fact, it's not even an island, but large peninsula, which fences off part of the sea, and the beach is located on the inside of this peninsula. Thus, there is a natural protection against waves. The downside of this place is that it is not so easy to get here. You need to choose either an excursion or get to the port yourself using a city ferry or ferry.

The beach has everything you need: sun loungers, sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, toilets and a restaurant. There are also additional entertainment in the form of gardens with exotic animals and birds, jet skis, a parachute, etc.

8. Beach in the north of Nha Trang in the Hon Chom area

Visiting hours are all year round. During the summer months, the tides are very strong in the afternoons.

There are 2 main beaches in Nha Trang. This is the central beach, which is often stormy, and the northern beach, which is more secluded in the bay, so the waves here are small or completely absent. Very often on the northern beach there is almost complete calm compared to what is happening on the central beach. Therefore, during unrest on the central beach, it is worth going and checking how things are in the northern part of the city. You can get from the center to the northern part of the city by taxi or by taxi.

9. Beach at Vinperal amusement park

Visiting hours are all year round. Between November and February, Vinpearl Island and Hon Tam are perfect for swimming with children and adults who are afraid of the waves at the city beach in Nha Trang.

Although the beach is artificial, it is very beautiful. This beach is protected by the Vinpearl Island from the sea, due to which it is almost always calm. The downside is the price, since to get here you must buy a ticket to the Vinpearl amusement park (cost 880 thousand VND). Therefore, it is difficult to go here every day due to financial reasons, but it is worth going out 1-2 times during your vacation as part of your trip to Vinpearl Beach. 10. Hon Tam Island Beach

Visiting hours are all year round. Between November and February, Hon Tam Island is perfect for swimming with children and adults who are afraid of the waves at the city beach in Nha Trang.

Hon Tam Island(or simply Tam Island) refers to the southern islands of Nha Trang. First of all, it is of interest to those who want to spend a secluded holiday in a quiet, environmentally friendly place. The island has its own equipped white sand beach. This beach is also famous for its lack of waves, which makes it attractive for people who do not like the large waves in Nha Trang. Recently, the disadvantage of this island is the dominance of tourists from China, so best time The time for visiting is until 12 noon.

You can read more about how to get here and the cost

Visiting hours are all year round. This beach is especially relevant only in the winter months, when bad weather often occurs in Nha Trang. but here it is sunny and you can swim.

Nha Trang is one of the most popular resorts Vietnam, where tourists come from all over the world. And it’s not surprising, because the beaches of Nha Trang offer a vacation for every taste: youth with club entertainment until the morning or real relaxation in the bounty style. In this article you will learn about all the beaches in the city and its surroundings.

Tran Phu City Beach

Of course, the most famous beach in this area. This beauty stretches for seven kilometers, and it is continuous light sand. Its color is due to the fact that it has a special structure, these are the smallest particles of sea shells. The sand is not as fine as in Phuket, but it is very pleasant, walking on it barefoot is a pleasure!

Along coastline There is a stunning embankment, from which you can go down to the beach. Although Chang Phu is located in the city center, there is a lot of greenery around. There are cute gazebos and benches. The surrounding area is clean, the park area and the beach are carefully cleaned, although there are leaves and tree branches on the sand. The beach is municipal, which means people gather there from early morning local residents to do morning exercise, do exercises or swim.

True, it’s not worth swimming here in winter. From November to March there is seasonal bad weather. The wind rises and drives the waves. Some daredevils, of course, decide to swim, but you definitely shouldn’t go to Chang Fu with children during these months. The rest of the time – beauty! The sand heats up in the sun; at lunchtime you will have to skip and skip to the sea barefoot. The bottom on Chang Fu is flat, gently sloping, the entry and depth are comfortable.

You can start trying right on the beach Vietnamese cuisine. There are a lot of different cafes and restaurants here, where they cook great food, especially in the part of the beach where it is located. But those who have already missed European dishes can also find a suitable establishment. Russian tourists, for example, adore the Gorky Park restaurant.

Tran Phu beach in Nha Trang is replete with signs in Russian, even in the menu you can find Cyrillic.

Calm Paragon Beach

Unlike the city center, where huge waves often rise, this place is calmer. This is a hotel beach.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang?

Anyone can take bus No. 4 (fare 7 thousand dong), which runs on the third line. You need to get off at the last stop, Vinpearl, and walk another fifteen minutes on your own two feet. First you go a little to reverse direction to the intersection and turn left there. Another option is to call a taxi from the terminal (costs approximately 80,000 VND).

In general, the journey by public transport takes about forty minutes. To get back, you need to come to the final stop. Often the bus is already accepting passengers or you will have to wait a maximum of a quarter of an hour.

Paragon Features

Paragon can hardly be called a beach in the literal sense of the word. If you look at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, it is immediately easy to recognize. It looks more like an artificial pool in a natural environment. The coastal part of the sea is fenced off by a rock. That is, in any weather there are no waves or debris that washes up during a storm. The sand is light, so the water looks turquoise. The sandbank is wide, which means small children will be at ease here.

Some people miss the liveliness of sea waves. But the partitioned space is quite spacious, and there is no impression of enclosure. And during a storm, which can last for several days, it is better to swim in such a closed beach than to admire the ramparts of Chang Phu.

Before heading back, you can rinse your feet near the villa, which is located on the edge. Behind the fence near the pool there is a hose with a tap. Locals are not shy about washing their feet there, and tourists also use it.

The downside is the modest size of the beach, few sunbeds and umbrellas. 40 thousand dong to pay for entry (children are free) plus another twenty for access to the sea. There is nowhere to eat, because there is a cafe only at the entrance. It is better to take snacks and water with you if you are going to visit Paragon Beach (Nha Trang).

Picturesque Pearl Beach

This beach is quite far from Nha Trang. The most convenient way is to book an excursion (at a Russian travel agency it will cost about 33 USD including a snack). Now some travel agencies from Nha Trang bring groups of tourists here. It’s difficult to get there on your own; buses don’t run.

How is Pearl Beach different from others?

Pearl Beach in Nha Trang is little known, which means there are almost no people on it. It is located south of Nha Trang. Entrance to the hotel (which includes the beach) is paid - 50,000 VND. There is a restaurant on the water and a magnificent stone lighthouse. There are huge boulders, palm trees, wooden houses on stilts all around - the views here are unforgettable. It’s worth going at least once to take beautiful pictures. If you are planning to take photos of white sand beaches in Nha Trang, then come here.

The beach is small but beautiful. During the season, the water is clean, warm, and there are no waves even during the day, unlike Nha Trang. Natural umbrellas, made from palm leaves. If you book an excursion, you will be given drinks and fruit on the beach. But in winter, the water becomes dirty: in the off-season, a lot of bags and other garbage wash up on the shore.

The downside is that the infrastructure is not developed at all (except for a lone restaurant and hotel) and it is far from Nha Trang. Overall, a nice place where you will feel calm and at one with nature.

Fun Beach Louisiana

Where is it located and how to get there?

Strictly speaking, there is no separate beach called Louisiana; it is part of the city beach, which belongs to the stunning cafe of the same name. Therefore, there is no point in writing separately about the sea - everything is the same as on Chang Fu. “Louisiana” is an establishment with its own brewery, so true lovers of the foamy drink flock here. Indeed, it has its own pool and beach. The cafe is located near the middle of the city beach.

You can get there on foot, if you walk along the city beach towards the cable car (Vinpearl), by taxi, telling the driver the name of the restaurant, or by buses No. 2, 4 or 5. The stop is called “Central Beach”, then walk a hundred meters to the lotus.

What's on Louisiana Beach?

The restaurant offers visitors comfortable sun beds with mattresses and sun loungers right next to the shore. The area is clean and well-groomed. Despite the sale of alcohol, the surroundings are calm and visitors are not rowdy. Security guards monitor the belongings of vacationers and drive away annoying local sellers.

Waiters at Louisiana Beach (Nha Trang) serve people along the entire perimeter of the beach, quickly bringing beer and snacks. If there are waves at sea, you can use the pool. Facilities also include fresh showers and toilets. The price for renting a sun lounger is less than two dollars, a glass of 0.6 liters of branded beer is more than $3. You can also guess the promotions: 3 times a week from noon to one and from four to five in the evening, when you buy two glasses of 0.3 liters, the third one is poured for free. By the way, the beer is excellent! They give you free salted nuts with it, you just have to ask the waiter.

The internet is good at the tables by the pool, but there are interruptions on the trestle beds. Among the shortcomings: you are asked to leave the sun loungers that are located by the pool after four in the evening, because the Louisiana staff is preparing the tables for dinner. The restaurant (like its beach) is open from seven in the morning until one in the morning. The downside is that it is quite expensive compared to other places.

Overall a nice place. No one runs up and checks to see if you took a drink so you can get a sunbed and splash around in the pool. In the evening there is live music on Louisiana Beach.

Deserted Bai Dai

Translated from Vietnamese, Bai Dai (pronounced in Russian as Bai Zai) means “long beach.” It really is like that - it stretches for as much as 15 km. Was here before military base, it is 20 km south of Nha Trang.

Bai Zai Beach, Nha Trang – how to get there?

You can get there by renting a car or taking a taxi. You can negotiate with the driver: for 500 thousand dong you will pay for the journey from the city and back with a wait. This is a common thing in Southeast Asia: the client is resting - the driver is waiting. Payment upon delivery in Nha Trang.

The beach, of course, is not as well-equipped as Chan Fu. There is natural debris everywhere: twigs, leaves, algae... But it’s not for nothing that Bai Zai is listed among the best beaches in Nha Trang. An atmosphere of peace and spirituality permeates everyone. The sea is clean and calm (waves only in winter). There are few people, but the landscapes are mesmerizing.

If you got here with a rented car or motorcycle, you can leave them in the “parking lot”. This is a small area where you can leave your iron horse. Locals take a bribe of only VND 5 thousand - for this money they will act as security guards. You don’t have to worry about transport, because for residents this is one of the main types of income (except for selling seafood).

Entertainment and prices for Bai Dai

Bai Dai Beach in Nha Trang is great for surfing: in winter there is a decent wave. You can rent a surf: you will have to pay 180 thousand dong for an hour. They offer different boards to choose from; in poor English, the owner will explain which one is best suited for what purpose. They take money only after returning the board - they trust you.

There is infrastructure only at the very beginning of Bai Zai, on the city side. There are several cafes there. The menus of local restaurants offer translations of dish names into Russian. True, it is difficult to understand what a snapper or triggerfish is. And the owners often don’t speak a word of Russian. Local merchants are not yet spoiled by tourists; they are happy even with a tip of 20,000 dong. Prices are low and customer service is friendly.

Behind the cafes there are long kilometers of wild beach with snow-white soft sand and crystal sea water. Locals remove marine debris at low tide. The Vietnamese don’t think much about recycling; they simply bury their finds in the sand. The entrance to the sea does not change depending on the tide: it remains flat, but the shallow water at low tide is small.

Fishermen are frequent guests here. They float on boats shaped like basins - it looks very authentic!

This is also a remote beach where no one goes public transport. If you rent a bike, you can get from the center of Nha Trang to the beach in an hour. You have to be prepared that the traffic is crazy: on the road, trucks and trucks drive no worse than racers, and often motorcyclists rush into oncoming traffic. You will have to travel 65 km north of the city. You need to drive along the AN1 highway under your own power. When you see the Huyndai Shipyards sign, turn right.

Driving along the coast, you will see fishermen and smell the aromas of fresh fish. You will be convinced that your trip was not in vain. The place is magical, the kind you see in paintings. You can stay in a real bungalow. The owner is a man who is probably almost a hundred years old. For $65 a day you can live comfortably with three meals a day. Or you can pay for a one-time visit ($5).

You can drive between two hotels and in this no man's land everything will be free. If you are using a rented vehicle rather than a taxi, it is convenient to purchase gasoline from the locals. You will see green bottles at the front door of houses. Drinks can also be purchased. In general, “Jungle Beach” is a paradise! Clean beach, not loaded with people.

You can get to Vinpearl (by the way, it’s actually called Hon Che) by ferry by sea or by cable car. Of course, the second option is much more picturesque: you can admire the views of the sea and islands around. The cable car starts from the central ticket office of Vinpearl, near the Nha Trang port. The cost of a ticket per adult is 800,000 dong (about $35). The price includes funicular travel (both directions) and entrance to all parts of the park.

What to do?

The park is simply wonderful! There is a lot of entertainment, but you can easily get lost. We advise you to take a free map and follow it.

Visitors to Vinpearl say that one day is not enough for a local amusement park; you will probably want to come again. There is an amusement park, an arcade, a shopping area with souvenirs and decorations (prices are higher than in Nha Trang), a water park, an electric sleigh, an aquarium, and even a fountain show!

On the beach - as always, white sand, crystal azure water (warmer than on the city shore), plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and no problems with finding a place. You can rent a jet ski, the cost of this pleasure is about $44/hour.

By the way, almost all the beaches of Nha Trang have stunning sand, which is loved not only by tourists, but also by sand flies. Insect bites are not dangerous, but they are very itchy, and the wounds take a long time to heal. Local pharmacies have the remedies, just show the stings to the pharmacist and they will give you the medicine.

You should also be careful with the sun. On the Vietnamese coast, even those who usually only get a tan get burned. Don’t be lazy to use strong sun creams, and then the beaches of Nha Trang will leave you only pleasant memories.

The beaches and attractions of Nha Trang are marked on the map in Russian.

And finally - a video from Nha Trang.

In this article we talk about all the beaches of Nha Trang - the long city beach, picturesque beaches in the surrounding area and paradise island beaches.

The beaches of Nha Trang are very popular among sun and sea lovers; it is not for nothing that this city is considered the most popular beach resort in Vietnam among Russian tourists.

The main city beach with a sandy shore and a granite embankment along it is 7 km long, and besides it there are several more picturesque beaches in the area and 5 island beaches where you can have a Bounty-style holiday. For all this, the city is rightfully considered the beach capital of Vietnam, and most reviews about Nha Trang beaches that can be found on the Internet are enthusiastic.

Just vacationers come to Nha Trang to soak up the sand for 2 weeks, and those who are looking for a comfortable climate to spend the winter here, and tourists galloping across the entire country from south to north always stop for a couple of days to get some rest. spirit and taste all the delights of life on the shores of the South China Sea, and even with the benefits of civilization.

Yes, Nha Trang is not just a resort town, but a rather large city in central Vietnam with a well-developed infrastructure, with a population of about 400 thousand people; it is the capital of Khanh Hoa province.

Russian-speaking tourists especially love Nha Trang, since the Vietnamese do everything possible to make sure that guests from Russia have a good and comfortable holiday here, so even if you don’t know any language other than your native one, you will feel comfortable in Nha Trang! Many shops, cafes, massage parlors and hotels speak Russian; there are menus and price tags in Russian, not to mention numerous excursions with a Russian guide.

Many of our compatriots live here, whose entire business is tied to Russian tourists, so any issues can be resolved with “our own people”; this opportunity undoubtedly captivates those who do not know the language, but travel or spend the winter in warm regions still really wants it.

Not only the beaches of Nha Trang are popular, but also many attractions, here even ordinary streets and courtyards are not without their own flavor, about the most popular and interesting places I’ll also tell you a little in this article!

The best beaches in Nha Trang

But first, I’ll share my impressions and show you photos of the beaches of Nha Trang that we visited. At the end of the article you will find detailed map, which highlights all the best beaches of Nha Trang in the city, as well as in the surrounding area and on the islands.

Looking ahead, I’ll just say that Nha Trang left a pleasant impression, even though we were here in the high season, but during a period of strong waves and a rather cool sea, and at the same time, I think that someday we we'll come back here again!

Nha Trang City Beach

This Nha Trang beach is the most popular among tourists. Firstly, it is long, about 7 km long,

with coarse yellow sand, secondly, most of the hotels are located just within walking distance from it, there are also hotels right on the coastline, and thirdly, the infrastructure is well developed here, there is everything a tourist would want on vacation - a cafe , restaurants, bars, beach parties, water sports - scooters, bananas, kiting, parasailing, massage/manicure available, rental of sun loungers and umbrellas.

The only thing, alas, is that in the period from October to February it is not often possible to see the city beach of Nha Trang without waves.

this is just the peak of the high season, but there’s nothing you can do about it, some people like to splash around in them, but sometimes it can even be dangerous, on the shore you can see signs like this:

Because of the waves, as you understand, the water cannot be clear, it is slightly cloudy, but not dirty, usually city beaches are dirtier, but this cannot be said about the city beach of Nha Trang.

Conventionally, Nha Trang Beach can be divided into several zones.

Nha Trang central beach or Lotus area

This is a wide, spacious stretch of beach and even in high season there is plenty of space.

The beach's landmark is the pink Lotus-shaped building (on the left in the photo), and it stretches north from this building. The largest hotels on Nha Trang beach are concentrated right here; these high-rise buildings go in succession one after another - Havana, InterContinental and Sheraton.

You can always find a place on the beach - both on the sand and on a rented sun lounger (40-60 thousand dong, 2-3 $).

If you stay at a hotel on the beach, you won’t have to pay for a sun lounger; the hotel will have its own dedicated area on the beach with all the amenities.

But even where there is no hotel nearby, there is all the necessary infrastructure - toilets/showers, cafes and bars. In addition, you can often find such mobile food stalls where you can have a snack at a very inexpensive price.

The central beach is loved not only by tourists, but also by locals, although the latter prefer to relax in the early morning from 6 to 8 am, and in the evening towards sunset, when it is no longer so hot outside.

Kids fly kites

or splashing in the waves while the adults have a picnic.

This part of the beach is notable for its neatly trimmed green lawns with a pedestrian park area. Tourists with strollers and elderly couples like to stroll here; in the midday heat you can hide under the shade of palm trees,

but the local Vietnamese have chosen street exercise machines, right here in the park along the beach,

they are free for everyone. We noticed that older Vietnamese people are especially fond of sports, they exercise not only on exercise machines,

but they also just like to stretch their legs on the shore,

actively ride bicycles,

and then they also have picnics on the beach.

And local youth come to the beaches of Nha Trang to play beach soccer and volleyball. In the morning, on the square in front of the Lotus building, you can see group dance classes and other gymnastics accompanied by music,

at other times they pass here holiday events and concerts.

In the evening, on the city beach of Nha Trang you can have a romantic dinner by candlelight to the sound of the sea. Expensive restaurants, those on the shore, set tables right on the sand, sometimes there is live music. The promenade in the park along the beach is illuminated, so this part of the beach is also illuminated, and picnics are held here until the evening.

It is in the central part that all the main water activities for tourists are concentrated - jet skis, boating, banana or cheesecake riding, as well as kite and surf schools.

Pay attention to the most tall building in Nha Trang – 40-storey hotel Muong Thanh Nha Trang Center.

Beach near Gorky Park

The beach is located next to the Russian restaurant “Gorky Park”, this part of the beach is also called “Dream Beach”. The main advantages of this part of the beach are the public swimming pools; they are the ones that save tourists in the heat, when you really want to swim, and the strongest waves are raging in the sea.

Here you can pay for a sun lounger and swim in the pool all day, there are also showers and toilets. The cost of a sun lounger depends on its location, and ranges from 60 (lounger + mattress) to 120 thousand VND (lounger + mattress + towel, next to the pool + access to wi-fi), i.e. 3-6$. Moreover, the standard options include those sun loungers that are under tarpaulin umbrellas and are closest to the beach, but further from the pool, VIP ones - with thatched umbrella roofs.

Entertainment options nearby include water banana boats and motorcycles.

and parasailing.

This part of the Nha Trang city beach is very popular among Russian vacationers, probably because there is a Russian restaurant and a pub where you can hear chanson in the evenings.

For children there is a Ferris wheel and a couple of fun sculptures.

Unfortunately, there are no sun loungers or other amenities of civilization here. But in the high season, when the waves are especially high in the central part of the beach, they are much lower here.

Southern part of the city beach

This is a practically deserted and completely unpopular part of the beach, with the exception of one section next to the Maritime Hotel Nha Trang. The beach area next to the hotel is well-groomed and has sun loungers and umbrellas.

But again, strong waves from October to February-March, although this does not frighten the local population at all - old women take sunny sand baths :)

Do you want to find yourself in a real resort heavenly place? Then 15 minutes by speedboat, and you are in a natural green ecological bay, in a clean bay, where there are only a couple of dozen luxury villas and your own beach.

It’s not forbidden to have a beautiful rest, so if you are not constrained cash, then it’s best to do it in this bay!

Paragon Beach Nha Trang

The beach bears the name of the Paragon Hotel of the same name, the hotel is small, and the beach is the same - only 100 m, quiet and calm. Paragon Beach is artificial, and the sand here is bulk - white and soft, almost floury, so the entrance to the sea is very comfortable, gently sloping.

An artificial breakwater dam was built opposite the beach, so it turned out to be an artificial bay, as a result there are no waves here, and the water is warmer, since it has time to warm up well, all year round. Although Paragon Beach is private, it is located in cottage village, it is accessible not only to guests of the hotel and neighboring villas, but also to any tourist, entry is paid for them, under the barrier next to the checkpoint, then past the villas and left to the sea. The cost is 20 thousand dong ($1), sun lounger – 70 thousand dong ($3.5), the beach is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Families with small children love to come here, they feel very comfortable splashing on the shore here, parents are not afraid that the child will be washed away by the wave, and besides, the sea is a little warmer.

Paragon Beach is attractive to many, but it is quite small, so during the high tourist season it can sometimes get crowded. Also, as for entertainment and other infrastructure (bars, cafes, restaurants, discos and shops), they are absent here; the hotel has a restaurant, prices are slightly higher than average, and local food vendors are not allowed here. So it’s better to take fruits with you 🙂 they won’t be superfluous!

There is a village opposite the beach, so you can watch the local people, mainly fishermen, right from your sun lounger.

In terms of leisure, there are only a couple of jet skis,

and a small embankment, so the average tourist may find it boring. After sunset, with the onset of darkness, you can see glowing plankton on the shore - for those who have never seen this, the sight is indescribable, you should definitely go for a swim!

The beach is located within the city, in the south, within walking distance from the cable car to the Vinpearl water park.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang? By taxi ($5-7), rented bike or city bus N4, runs every 10-15 minutes (from the final stop about 5 minutes down on foot and to the right).

If the main goal of your vacation is the beach, sun, sea, then it is undoubtedly worth considering the Paragon Hotel, at least for half of your vacation, or a couple of days for variety, especially since there is a water park nearby, and for hotel guests 3 times a day There is a free shuttle to the center of Nha Trang.

Zoklet Nha Trang Beach (Doc Let Beach)

Zoklet Beach (Doklet) with snow-white sand and a calm sea is the closest to the Bounty picture among the beaches of Nha Trang, which is why families with children especially love it, the total length of Zoklet Beach is about 10 km.

Zoklet beach is loved by both tourists and locals; there is a village in one part and hotels in the other. In the part where the locals hang out, there are various shops with fresh, inexpensive seafood and other infrastructure.

There is no doubt about the freshness of seafood and fish, fishing boats are located right off the coast, but fortunately for vacationers, they are not along the entire length of the beach, as in other places we passed on the way to these parts - Zoklet is not in the photo below, don’t be alarmed = )

You can also go to the beach through hotels, for example, White Sand Doclet, entrance fee is 30 thousand dong ($1.5), for a sun lounger under an umbrella there is a separate fee, another 20 thousand dong ($1). On the free beach, renting a sun lounger costs 5 thousand VND. Parking nearby is also 5 thousand VND.

The hotel has a restaurant with reasonable prices, but you can also stay in this or another hotel for a couple of days, or at least 1 day, because the beach is ideal for this, and besides, the road from Nha Trang is not close, about 50 km to the north.

Yes, you can go to Zoklet Beach from Nha Trang in one day, but firstly, it’s quite tiring on a bike (1.5 hours one way), and secondly, it’s always interesting to take your time and see something along the way, for example, take a dip into the local flavor - look into a couple of villages, drive through rice fields, along fish and duck farms,

yes, and just along sea coast with wild deserted beaches, and take your time.

Or visit the Ba Ho waterfalls, they are also along the way (20 km from Nha Trang), which can take several hours if you go on a circular trek.

Get to Zoclet Beach You can do it on a rented bike, as part of an excursion (cost from $10), or by taxi, but due to the distance it will be much more expensive. Bus N3 also goes to Zoklet beach (journey takes an hour, cost 25 thousand dong).

Bai Dai Beach

When describing the best beaches in Nha Trang, one cannot fail to mention Bai Zai (Bai Dai) - one of the most picturesque beaches in the immediate vicinity of the city, it is located only 16 km to the south, this nearest beach to the airport. There was once an active military base here, but now it is a delicious beach paradise for both tourists and locals!

The length of Bai Zai beach is almost 15 km, the sand here is white, fine, like flour, the entrance to the sea is gentle,

but alas, despite the absence of waves, the water here is clean, but there is dirt on the shore. No, this is not garbage, this is organic dirt, perhaps it is not here all year round. The service and infrastructure here are very simple compared to the city beach of Nha Trang, and at the same time, it is full of vacationers.

If 10 years ago it was a quiet, uncrowded beach, over the past few years the situation has changed - new hotels have been built on Bai Zai beach, it is rapidly developing and gaining popularity. You can get to Bai Zai Beach by rented bike (half an hour journey) or by taxi (can be expensive due to the distance).

Jungle Beach

Jungle Beach is a very beautiful natural beach with coves and bays. It is located quite far from Nha Trang, on the Heo Peninsula, but since there are hotels here, you can safely come for a couple of days, you definitely won’t regret it.

Places where you can be surrounded by nature, among rocky coves, swim in the sea and walk along picturesque beach there are not so many in the outskirts of the city, and here it is also not crowded. And what clean air... On the peninsula there is a continuous green area.

Windsurfers love to spend time here, and ordinary tourists also love this beach for its white sand and gentle entrance to the sea, and jet skis among water activities :)

You can get there by renting a bike along the AH1 highway.

Beaches on the southern islands

These island beaches of Nha Trang are quite attractive for tourists - as a rule, on the islands the water is cleaner, and there are much fewer waves, and the holiday itself is more exotic, paradise and calm than in the city itself, but getting to the island beaches from Nha Trang is not at all constitutes labor,

Some of the islands have hotels that are considered some of the best in Nha Trang!

By the way, it is not at all necessary to settle on these islands; you can go on vacation just for one day, for example, as part of an excursion (from $7, including lunch),

at the same time, for a small fee, relax on the island, taking advantage of the benefits of hotels (well-maintained beach, sun loungers, restaurant, swimming pool).

Vinpearl Beach

Winpearl Island is the most popular island near Nha Trang (just 10 minutes by cable car or speedboat). Vinpearl Beach is not only a great beach in Nha Trang, but also one of the most memorable places in the area. This is a huge entertainment water park VINPEARL, which is located on a separate island of Hon Tre (“Bamboo”), directly opposite the city beach of Nha Trang, the white letters of its name are always clearly visible on the green hill from the shores of the city beach :)

Vinpearl Beach is pleasant, with white fine sand, the water here is a little warmer than on the city beach of Nha Trang, perhaps because there are much fewer waves here (especially from November to February, when they rage on the city beach), as a result of which there are more people, and the beach is quite small.

Thousands of tourists come to the Vinpearl water park every day, and despite the abundance of attractions, water slides, dolphin and seal shows, aquariums with turtles and tropical fish, evening enchanting fountain shows, and on weekends also performances with carnival elements, tourists still find time to visit Vinpearl Beach on the island to soak up the sand a little and splash in the gentle waves.

Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate everyone, so we have to crowd together on the beach. You cannot bring your own drinks and food to the island (although there is not always a security check when boarding a booth), but there are plenty of cafes with affordable prices. It’s best to come early in the morning and for the whole day, believe me, there’s plenty of entertainment!

Get to the water park and Vinpearl Beach on the island you can take a cable car (20 minutes on the way), one of the longest in the world, more than 3 km long, or by speedboat. To get to the cable car station, take the city bus N4 or take a taxi. The cable car operates Sun-Thu from 8:30 to 21:00, Fri-Sat from 8:30 to 22:00, in high season every day from 8:00 to 22:00.

The cost of visiting the island with a water park is 650 thousand dong ($30), after 5 pm - 350 thousand dong ($17).

Ticket includes cable car and all the entertainment of the island (water park with various attractions, shows, dolphinarium, oceanarium, etc.). By the way, there is a Vinpearl Resort 5 * hotel on the island, in order to have time to enjoy all the benefits of the park, it is worth considering the option of staying there; you can see the current prices here.

Beach on Hon Tam Island

Hon Tam Island is loved for its nature, serenity and silence; the island is located just 4 km from Nha Trang. The island has all the necessary infrastructure, a golf course and a 5* eco-hotel MerPerle Hon Tam Resort with stunning villa rooms,

as well as a restaurant and swimming pool. The beach next to the hotel is amazing - fine, pleasant white-yellow sand, straw umbrellas, a pleasant crystal-clear sea without waves.

On the island of Hom Tam there is observation deck with views of the surrounding area, walkways along which are pleasant to walk and a cave where you can also look.

Any tourist from Nha Trang can come to the island and also bask on the fine sand near transparent sea. Families with small children like to come to Hom Tam beach, due to the absence of large waves, like on the city beach in Nha Trang, here you can safely splash in the shallow water.

The general Hom Tam beach borders the hotel beach, it also has sun loungers, umbrellas, a barbecue restaurant and snack bars, as well as an entertainment area and a pair of cascading pools for guests of the island, with a show program in the evenings.

There is also a small ethnic village on the island. In the evenings, national performances and shows are held here, and during the day you can just take a walk, look into the houses, get involved in the local culture - play authentic musical instruments or buy a couple of hand made souvenirs to take home.

You can easily spend a whole day on this island.

How to get to Hom Tam Island: boats depart from Hon Tam Pier and can be reached by regular city bus N4. Boats depart every hour from 8:00 to 16:00, the journey takes 20 minutes, return trips until 20:00.

If you are not going to a hotel, but just to relax on the island for one day without an overnight stay, then there are different options for tour prices, depending on what is included in the program (transfer from the hotel to the port, buffet with barbecue " buffet", swimming pool, changing rooms, sun loungers, golf, tennis, beach volleyball, water sports, other entertainment, etc.), the most cheap option starts from $10 (boat return only).

The island is popular with many people, so it is possible that you will want to extend your stay in this paradise, you can view the current prices for rooms at the Hom Tam Resort here.

Beach on Hon Mun Island

The best snorkeling and diving in Nha Trang is right here, off the coast of this Hon Mun Island!

This is the most distant island from Nha Trang in the southern group of islands in the bay, located 11 km from the southern port. The clean, clear water off the coast of Hon Mun with numerous corals and colorful tropical fish undoubtedly attracts tourists.

Moreover, many people buy excursions here even without landing on the island itself, since you can dive directly from the boat.

By the way, we did just that; our boat moored a couple of tens of meters from Hon Mun Beach, from where we could enjoy the underwater world of the South China Sea to our heart's content.

There, the guides organized a sea bar with alcoholic drinks right in the water :)

The easiest and cheapest way to get to this island is as part of an excursion; prices for Hon Mun start from $15 (the program includes lunch and snorkeling equipment). Individual tours and group tours, but with a Russian guide they cost 2-3 times more.

If you are planning to land on the island, then keep in mind that it is considered a nature reserve, so the entrance fee is 10 thousand dong ($5). The port from where the boats depart is called Ben tau tham quar Vinh.

Khon Mot Island

Hon Mot Island, like Hon Mun Island, attracts tourists with its underwater flora and fauna, so when going to the beach of this island, be sure to bring a mask and fins.

Near the island there are a couple of these floating dive stations with everything you need for diving and with sun loungers for relaxing between them.

If you go to Khon Mot Island as part of an excursion, you will most likely be provided with masks and fins for swimming on the boat.

Underwater you can see tropical fish, corals, mollusks and sea snakes, and in this case it is better to snorkel not from the shore, but from a boat a couple of tens of meters away, where visibility under water, and the underwater world itself, is richer.

If the water seems cold, or you simply don’t want to get wet, or swim where you can’t reach the bottom with your feet, there is a trick here - round boats with a transparent bottom,

This attraction is not free, but since you came here and don’t want to swim, it makes sense to see the underwater treasures at least this way :)

Excursions often combine visits to two islands - Hon Mot and Hon Mun; the cost of the trip starts from $15.

Hon Mieu Island

Hon Mieu Island is the closest southern islands to Nha Trang. The main attraction of Hon Mieu island is a giant aquarium in the shape of a pirate ship, where you can see sharks, moray eels, as well as Amazon inhabitants, sea turtles and hundreds of tropical fish, the billboard is located right on the pier, so don’t miss it :)

But as for the beach on Hon Mieu island, it is rocky, but it is also chosen for swimming,

because there are almost no waves here, and the coast itself is quite picturesque, so after a walk through the aquarium you can freshen up and have a photo shoot against the backdrop of the seascape.

Well, if you get bored of splashing in the water, then the tanned Vietnamese are always happy to provide water activities; the water area around the islands allows you to splash around to your heart's content!

Get to the island possible from the same port as the islands of Mun and Mot. It is best to visit this island as part of an excursion, as a couple of hours is enough.

Well, as you can see, Nha Trang can really be considered the beach capital of Vietnam, and to the delight of tourists, there are not only beaches, excursions to the islands and a water park, but also historical attractions, so resort holiday in Nha Trang you can completely combine it with a cultural excursion, see the color and originality of Vietnam, get acquainted with its traditions!
