Nai yang beach resort planes. Guide to Nai Yang Beach Phuket: secret locations and passwords

A FRESH LOOK. A YEAR LATER.
Exactly a year later, to the same day, on May 23rd we arrived in Phuket. I really wanted to do this again quiet place and to this hotel. Ironically, they checked into the same room, 4016. Last year I wrote very detailed review about everything, you can read it by following the link TopHotels
All useful information and descriptions are there, I will not repeat them. I will describe the changes and fresh impressions.
It didn't work out from the very beginning. Phuket was met with torrential rain. Since this time we came with a small child, the question of whether or not to pay 1000 baht for early check-in did not arise. At the first clearing, we rather went to the beach, which we remembered so often throughout the year. And here we were in for a shock!

SAD NEWS NUMBER ONE. The entire coast looked like one big continuous garbage dump along its entire length. Mountains of household and natural garbage, old networks, some fragments of buildings and endless plastic, plastic, plastic... I wanted to cry. Yes, in fact, I almost cried. Well, we couldn’t change anything, we had to live with it and somehow adapt to it.

CHANGES TO THE HOTEL.
Today, quite a large part of the hotel is closed for renovation. The third swimming pool, a wonderful alley leading to the lobby and being the hallmark of the hotel, an aviary with turtles are not accessible. There are almost no outlandish living creatures left that inhabit this small piece of the jungle - a variety of lizards, butterflies, interesting birds, iguanas. Perhaps due to repairs, or perhaps due to the fact that all the bushes are periodically watered with insect poison. The mosquitoes and midges, however, are not getting smaller; they are desperately feeding on them. Squirrels and geckos remained in abundance. Well, dogs. Chiquito is alive and well, Lisito is somewhere in dog heaven. The road to the lobby and to the beach is now a bypass, along the newly opened building where transit Chinese spend the night. The road is not burdensome, nice, just a little longer. The fact that the hotel is undergoing renovations does not affect your holiday in any way - you can’t hear anything, there is no dirt at all. If a person has not been to the hotel before, he will not realize that in fact it is much larger. The area is still clean and fragrant, the rooms are still not cleaned, the breakfasts are edible and sometimes very tasty. The Chinese are not at all bothered by the commissioning of the new building. The main thing is not to go to breakfast early, but somewhere around 9-10.
But let's return to the sea and the beach - we all go to it. I wrote about the beach. It was never cleaned until we left; it only became dirtier with each tide. We ourselves had to clear the strip from the sun loungers (near them the Thais clean a narrow strip) to the sea (we were with a small child), we would have lived like that, but another misfortune came from where we didn’t expect it.
SAD NEWS NUMBER TWO. This year the sea is teeming with jellyfish, and poisonous ones at that. In our family of five, three were stung, one of them twice and one three times! The burns were of varying degrees of severity (it depends on the size of the jellyfish and the speed of the actions taken), the most severe was two days of incessant vomiting, wild dizziness, diarrhea, fever, and aches. This is in addition to very severe pain and scars. Because the first time we were not prepared for such a turn of events and had no idea how to behave. Then the poison was immediately neutralized and the consequences were easier.
By the way, about the weather in the low season. Normal, good sunny weather. There was occasional rain, short and refreshing. Once there was a tropical downpour of enormous force at night, but in the morning everything was dry and fragrant with cleanliness. So the weather is fine. Another thing is that this is the season of storms in the open ocean and they bring mud and jellyfish. There are no storms on Nai Yang due to being surrounded by a coral reef, but all sorts of crap still comes. Deprived of a full-fledged beach and sea, we decided to rent a car and go to other beaches. We took it directly from the hotel, 1000 baht for the first day, then everything gets cheaper. (Toyota Corolla in medium shabby condition). We visited all the famous and unknown beaches and stopped at Nai Harn. A very beautiful and very clean snow-white beach, the water is like the Similan Islands (who knows). It is not comparable to Nai Yang in his current state. When there are no waves or they are small, you can’t imagine anything better, it’s very beautiful, there are sun loungers, lifeguards, and places to eat. But when there are waves, you can’t swim, these are real ocean waves, which is why the beach is so loved by tourists who are passionate about surfing.

SAD NEWS NUMBER THREE - THERE ARE JELLYFISHES ON ALL BEACHES! On Nai Harn we also received a serious burn. We vacationed five times during the low season and didn’t know about such a misfortune, and here we are. It was not possible to buy enough. Everywhere jellyfish were seen either right on the shore or in the sea. Whether to swim or not - everyone decides for himself, this is his risk zone, but when you are with a three-year-old child (and children suffer from burns much more severely, up to cardiac arrest from painful shock), then there is no choice between yes and no. In general, the car is very convenient, we traveled all over the island, saw everything we had not seen before. We went to the aquarium. More like an aquarium, by the way, that’s what it’s called. Several containers with different fish and a glass tunnel. You can take a photo in it, but in reality it is no more than five meters. Half an hour was enough to see everything. So-so. Cost 180 baht per adult, children under 108cm free.
Another sad thing, number four. While putting the child to bed, I noticed that ants were running all over him. Not one or two, but they paved a straight path. I lifted the pillow and was stunned - within a day an anthill had formed under the pillows and mattress. I picked up the child at the reception. I don’t know English, but due to my ability, I drew a bed and an evil ant on a piece of paper, aggravated it with the epithet “many-many”... When we returned to the room, everything had already been poisoned and the beds had been changed. Fast and efficient.

IN THE ROOM something has changed over the year. Of course, no renovations have been done, but there are some nice little things. For example, we changed the shower - now it is very good, with a large, adjustable and removable square head with very strong water pressure. There is always hot water, and it is hot water, not room temperature. No sockets were added. The bed linen is snow-white, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable, the size of the bed is amazing. An iron and ironing board are brought to your room upon request at the reception or by phone (the iron is pre-revolutionary, without a steamer). The Internet is free, there were interruptions, but short-term. The speed is normal. The TV was hung on the wall, the table was freed up and it became much more convenient. There is still only one Russian channel, but no longer Rusphuket TV, but Channel One, broadcast to Germany. It differs from ours in the release time of familiar programs.

ADVICE. When going on vacation, we, like everyone else, always take with us a bunch of medicines for all occasions. So there is no need to do this. In Thailand, all these medicines are available, only of much higher quality and much cheaper. There are also many that we don’t have. Due to such an unlucky vacation in terms of health, we came across this closely and I assure you with full responsibility that their products are much more effective, even with the active ingredient of the same name. And first aid supplies are generally available in every Family Mart for pennies. The best pharmacy is opposite FM, the Thai woman speaks good English and has a translator program on her computer. Our smartphone translator in Russian-Thai mode is complete nonsense; you must first do a Russian-English translation, and then from English into Thai.
In general, it was not possible to fully enjoy the sea this season (and we are in Phuket for the seventh time), all swimming is very hasty and with constant looking back. For those with small children, think that there is only a swimming pool left, and only one - in the second, our yellow-faced brothers are constantly rinsing in immeasurable quantities. True, our pool, which is in the TROPICAL WING area, although small, is clean, surrounded by fragrant plumeria, there are almost no people in it, sun loungers are always free, the water is clean and almost hot. Not a single Chinese person was seen there during the entire vacation. Only our Russian children, one, maximum two.

I can say about myself that I probably won’t come here again. There will always be a fear that the picture with the beach and the sea will repeat itself. It's like a lottery. Of course, this has nothing to do with the hotel - the beach is municipal, in the low season with storms, jellyfish migrate wherever they want, but we are flying to the sea. And he was not there at all on our vacation. I have never seen such slaughter on the shore before. There was almost no crystal water like last year either. Plus countless hordes of mosquitoes and small midges, which for some reason everyone calls “beach fleas.”

TIP number two. BEFORE departure, after cleaning, carefully count everything in the room - the number of towels, plates, spoons, cups. Last year's story repeated itself. The maid tried to steal a plate taken for painting (she was caught red-handed) and two towels were not provided during the last cleaning. Don't think this is an accident. This is common practice in this hotel (as in many others). Then, when you check out the room, you will be billed for all these losses and you will be forced to pay, because you will not have time to sort things out. I just don’t know who in this hotel is the initiative link in this commercial endeavor - the hotel management or the “maids-reception” team. However, be careful, their penalty prices are not small.

SUMMARY. The place is still calm and pleasant, almost homely. The hotel area is small, but green and well-groomed. The rooms may be old, but for a short stay they have everything you need and work properly. If, like we were last year, you are lucky with clean beach and a jellyfish-free sea, a wonderful holiday awaits you. This is what I wish for you from the bottom of my heart!

Review of Nai Yang Beach Hotel Resort and Spa 4: exclusive photos

Hello, dear readers! As promised in the previous article, I hasten to publish a review of the Nai Yang Beach Hotel Resort Spa 4* in Phuket.

I spent more than two weeks in this place, so the information is, one might say, hot on the heels.

In my opinion, this hotel is more suitable for long rest on Nai Yang Beach not only in terms of its location, but also in terms of price/quality ratio. However, there are always small nuances that may be unacceptable to some people, so read on, then you can better imagine whether he is interesting to you or not.

Nai Yang Beach Resort Hotel located 10 minutes drive from Phuket airport, which is undoubtedly a big plus for Russian tourists. A long flight is usually exhausting; for many, a short transfer to the place is essential.

The hotel's name itself reflects its location. It is located in the heart of the amazingly beautiful Nai Yang Beach in the Sirinat National Park, detailed guide look for Nai Yang. There is a lot in that article tourist information in real numbers, which will help you better prepare for your vacation and calculate your budget.

In order to get to the place, it is best to book a transfer from the hotel in advance. Cost for 4 people - 250 baht, minivan - 400 baht. A taxi from the airport will cost much more.

Rooms and service

On the official website of the Nai Yang Beach Resort - http://www.naiyangbeachresort.com/, 4 types of rooms.

First two: Oriental-Wing and Thai-Deluxe are almost identical in cost and size. Only the “Thai Deluxe” is located in a two-story building not far from the reception, and the “East Wing” rooms are located further, in a four-story building, although from the pictures you might think that they are in cottages.

Package and one-day tourists are usually accommodated in a distant building, but you shouldn’t be scared, it’s very close (100 meters) and it’s also very beautiful there, see the photo.

Far Building in the East Wing

If you are guaranteed to want to be closer to the reception and the sea, then initially choose Thai rooms.

Building with “Thai Deluxe” rooms near the reception

The last two types of rooms, Tropical-Deluxe and Thai-Mini-Suite, are located in one- and two-story cottages. Moreover, I still don’t understand why “Tropical” costs more. It has a smaller area, only the furniture is a little fresher, but otherwise it’s nothing special, it’s not worth overpaying.

The one-story ones have suites, and in the background you can see the two-story ones with Tropical rooms

Thai two-room suite. However, full-sized sofas are available in all hotel rooms, so those traveling with children should only pay extra if it is essential to have two rooms.

There are such sofas in almost every room, the size is not visible in the photo, but an adult can fully fit there.

The rooms are equipped with everything you need. LCD TVs are selective; they have not changed everywhere yet. The refrigerators are large, the safes are modern, the closets have almost no shelves, but there are plenty of hangers. There are three free sockets. Two on each side of the TV, one in the bathroom. Our plugs are plug-in, no adapters needed. There is a tea set, but instead of a kettle there is a full-fledged multi-purpose device. Our tourists manage to cook shrimp in it (I saw reviews).

Deluxes all start at 8

The beds are comfortable, the bed linen is yellowish, the towels are different, they can bring you snow-white ones, or they can be washed and gray. Cleaning is zero. Towels are changed every other time, they can be picked up from the floor and neatly folded as if they were clean. The bed linen was changed a week after persistent requests. Moreover, tips do not affect the quality of cleaning. Although money accidentally left behind will definitely be taken away. This is often written about in reviews.

The toilet room is large, the shower is spacious, the water pressure is good, I didn’t notice any temperature changes. There is an average hairdryer. Everything worked fine. After the drain in the barrel broke, it was repaired within 10 minutes.

To the right is a spacious shower

There is a balcony or terrace everywhere. Quite spacious, with plastic furniture (table and two chairs). There is also a convenient drying rack for clothes.

View from the terrace

Terraces in the rooms

Water is brought every day at 0.5 per person. The jars in the shower are also changed regularly, but toilet paper is often forgotten. The minibar consists of a couple of bottles of water, two chocolates, chips and nuts. We didn't use it.

The front door opens with a regular key; there is an electronic key on the key fob, which you insert to turn on the light. It’s inconvenient if you leave and everything turns off, the chargers, the air conditioner. When you come back it’s stuffy. True, the air conditioner is powerful, but quite noisy. However, it is problematic to turn it on at night; it blows exclusively on the bed.

You can lock yourself

Restaurant and food

There are two restaurants at the Nai Yang Beach Resort. Both are located at the entrance to the territory.

The one on the right is only open for breakfast. Every morning, from 7.00 to 11.00, “ buffet" We must pay tribute, a very decent buffet.

Literally everything is present, the choice is huge. Eggs in any form are cooked in your presence, pancakes and pancakes are fried with any filling. From hot, edible sausages, two types of chicken, variously prepared rice, local noodles, a lot of stewed vegetables, always two soups, there are even quite edible porridges with coconut milk. Muesli, delicious yogurt, toast, ham, fresh vegetables, some local salads. Fruits include pineapples, watermelon, mangoes, bananas and always something more exotic. Lots of baked goods. The coffee is made by a machine, but it's not tasty at all. Dishes are constantly being brought, there are almost no empty trays.

The variety of breakfasts is more similar to the Turkish all-inclusive than to the Thai options in other hotels. But the cost is steep - 300 baht. Therefore, mostly package tourists eat, for whom this item is a priori included in the price of the tour.

Breakfast can be paid for on site. They will simply ask you at the entrance what room you live in, and upon check-out they will add the cost of food to your bill. It won’t be possible to go in twice in the morning, but you’ll probably be able to sneak out food unnoticed.

In fact, you can have breakfast at any beach cafe and pay half the price.

A piece of the hotel restaurant is slightly visible on the right

The second restaurant is located to the left of the hotel entrance. It is small, open, and no different from beach cafes. Works all day. In the evening there is sometimes live music there, but for some reason it is not popular. Probably the prices are steep, we didn’t go.

Territory and infrastructure

Nai Yang Beach Resort is very green. Lush tropical vegetation gives it a cozy and exotic look. The area is large and well-groomed. Everything is compact and thoughtful.

Along the perimeter there are two or three storey buildings. Inside, around the pools, one-story cottages with small terraces are scattered. There are winding paths everywhere. There are beautiful flowers and shrubs around.

There are three pools, of different depths. There are children's departments. Water 26-28 degrees. Clean, but you can feel the bleach. There are plenty of sun loungers around with sun shades. I didn't see any crowds of people.

It is written that it is open until 19.00, in fact I saw people swimming at 23.00

I saw two playgrounds. They are small, located in the sun, so they were not in great demand.

They look sad and don’t make you want to play

Opposite the far three-story building there is a recreation area in the form of a wooden table and comfortable benches, everything is in the shade, next to a beautiful flower garden.

The reception of the Nai Yang Beach Resort is located at the entrance, an open building, inside there are several large aquariums with large colorful fish. In the middle, right through the roof, a tree grows. Looks interesting.

There is a notice at the counter with the cost of transfer to the airport. I wrote the prices above. You can order one hour before departure, and they will take you by hotel car. To another place in Phuket, a city taxi can be ordered here. It is better to agree on it in advance. I saw tourists waiting for the car for about an hour.

Opposite the reception there is a point for issuing beach towels; here you can also rent bedding, leaving a small deposit. Towels are usually taken on the way to the beach, handed out, and an employee writes down the number. When you return it in the evening, your number is simply crossed out in your notebook.

Beach and sea

The Nai Yang Beach Resort does not have its own beach. However, it is municipal everywhere. Despite this, the beach is very close, very clean and beautiful.

From the hotel to the shore no more than 30 meters. Opposite the hotel entrance is the central part of the beach. This is very convenient, because only here you don’t feel the tides, there are sun loungers (100 baht - 1), all the cafes and shops, a supermarket are located, exchange office and a pharmacy.

At the same time, the place is calm, you can find shade from the trees if you don’t want to pay for a sunbed.

The sea is above all praise. Warm (+28-30), with smooth, clean, pleasant sand and smooth entry into the water. But most importantly, during the season, there are never waves here. On the sides of the bay, huge breakwaters are buried under water, which reliably serve as a shield even in strong winds.

Cost of travel to the hotel

In every review I always show actual prices for a week-long trip. Thus, I try to give readers the opportunity to initially estimate their capabilities.

Today I will show you the cost of a week's holiday for two adults with a flight from Moscow and accommodation in a simple room with breakfast. As always, I will compare the cost of an independent trip and the proposed package tours.

I chose the cheapest dates in April, departure from Moscow on April 24, return home on May 2. That works out to 7 nights in a hotel and one night on the plane.

Package tour

I found only two operators offering tours to this hotel. In both cases, direct flight on regular flights.

Anex tour for the same dates

As you can see, Anex is a little cheaper. Not surprisingly, their representative is always in the reception area before lunch.

So, we will start from the fact that a package week-long tour for two at the end of April will cost 91,450 rubles. As usual, everything is included here: flights, transfers, accommodation, insurance and even breakfast.

Solo travel

Since with a package tour the flight is direct, I am looking at non-stop tickets for regular flights.

Aeroflot for the same dates:

Booking through the Booking system

Directly through the hotel's official website

14,000 baht - 25,000 rubles at today's exchange rate in Thailand. It turns out that in this case, booking through the official website of the hotel is more profitable than through Booking.

A round trip transfer to the airport will cost 500 baht, which corresponds to 900 rubles. The simplest weekly insurance for two will cost 2,500 rubles.

After all the calculations, independent travel will cost 99,386 rubles.

Which is more profitable?

An independent trip to the Nai Yang Beach Resort is a little more expensive than a package tour. But by sacrificing some inconveniences, you can make it cheaper than a tour. The most expensive thing there is tickets. If you find a curved flight, you can save at least 20,000 rubles. You can pay for a room without breakfast, they are very expensive there, 300 baht per person. Then you will save another 4,000 baht per week, which is about 7,000 rubles.

Even if you roughly estimate, using all the saving methods, you can relax together for 75,000 rubles, setting off on your own, without travel agencies. This method will be especially beneficial if you go for a longer period.

Always consider all your options before purchasing a tour. It often happens that independent trip cheaper and more convenient.

If you are going to stay on Nai Yang Beach, then this hotel is the best best option in terms of price/quality ratio. And if you can play with dates, you can buy it cheaper. In March, we managed to book a hotel through Booking with a 49% discount, which significantly reduced our travel budget. But to do this, you need to monitor offers daily.

On the hotel's official website, the prices for Oriental-Wing and Thai-Deluxe rooms are the same. For some reason, deluxes are more expensive on Booking. If the price is the same, I recommend choosing the Thai Deluxe. These rooms are closer to the sea and reception. Accordingly, if you walk closer, the Internet in the room works better.

There are karmars there. Take fomitox, it helps a lot. I also recommend taking a tee from home, there are not enough sockets.

Book a transfer from your hotel; a taxi at the airport is twice as expensive.

The windiest day, there is a storm everywhere in Phuket, and in Nai Yang there is a slight swell!

We spent a full 15 days at the Nai Yang Beach Resort and did not regret it at all. The rooms are certainly very tired, but spacious and bright. They cleaned very poorly, but the trash was always taken out and problems were resolved promptly.

The hotel is all green, there are swimming pools next to each building, you can’t see people at all, the sea is close, and so is the tourist infrastructure. You can eat on a budget. It is not difficult to find shade on the beach, there are no waves, the sea is warm, almost hot.

You might be interested in reading a couple of my articles on the most popular Russian tourists excursions. There are more than 100 exclusive photos, so you will definitely get a rough idea. And . There is also a separate article about amazingly beautiful lake Cheo Lan, I wrote it quite recently, read it.

This is where I say goodbye for a moment. Leave comments, subscribe to blog updates, there are still many interesting stories and useful reviews ahead.

Nai Yang Beach (Phuket, Thailand): description, video, photo

In the northwest of Phuket island in Thailand, in the territory national park Sirinath, is wild, beautiful beach Nai Yang Beach, it follows Mai Khao Beach.

Nai Yang is about 4 kilometers long - it is quite a large beach, not very popular among tourists. There are usually few people here compared to or. Nai Yang Beach is quite green and there are many places where you can relax in the shade of the casuarina branches hanging over you.

Nai Yang is also famous for the fact that here you can buy directly from the boats from the fishermen (for example, fresh medium-sized tuna from: 80 baht per piece), but for this you need to come to the beach very early, at the time when they return at sunrise from sea to shore!

The flora here is mainly made up of coniferous casuarinas, which has a positive effect on the inherent air of this place - there are few palm trees here!

The sea is clean, transparent, green-blue. Entry depth is average. The waves in this part of Phuket are not high, so this place is great for swimming with small children, even in .

On Nai Yang you can walk to the river that flows into the sea. Be careful with the local fauna: there are snakes here! Remember, snakes do not react to the noise we make, but to vibrations, so: stomp, clap, scare the snakes, and you will have a lot of fun! By the way, I haven’t met them here myself.

Due to the fact that Nai Yang Beach is quite large, you can find many secluded places where you can relax from tourists.

There are a lot of boats in the north, it is not very comfortable for swimming, and if you go further you will see that it is adjacent to the airport! If you see planes landing or taking off, then you are at the junction of Nai Yang and Mai Khao.

In the south there is almost always a large sandbank; it’s not worth swimming here, but taking a walk is just right! There is a beautiful, green hill here, at the foot of which there is a hotel!

In the center is the main seating area, where the concentration will be large number tourists hiding in the shade of umbrellas and sipping freshly squeezed juices brought from a nearby bar! This is the best place to swim.

Things to do at Nai Yang Beach

In addition to your usual relaxation, you can go diving and explore the coral reef passing through here. Go canoeing or longtailing. You can also use the services of a boat taxi service from where you can sail to any point on the coast, and for those who like spontaneous decisions - to another province!

You can take great photos of airplanes flying in the sky by first looking at their flight schedules. Apply cream in advance - if you get there during a break between flights, you can get very sunburned! You can simply sunbathe and swim, both in and during the low season.

Do yoga, jog along the shore at sunset. There are several interesting attractions here, so it's worth a visit. You can use our observation platforms and attractions. Don't forget about beauty and massage salons.

Attractions

In addition to sunbathing and swimming, you can visit local attractions:

Nai Yang Temple (Wat Nai Yang)

The temple was built in 1954. It's very beautiful, Buddhist temple, with a very interesting park!

In this temple you will be greeted by a large statue of Buddha and statues of other important people immortalized in images familiar to this place.

Be decently dressed when visiting the temple grounds, avoid bare shoulders and legs!

Find out more about the Buddhist traditions of Thailand, read about one of the biggest Buddhist holidays -!

Approximate opening hours: daily, from 07:00 to 17:00

Sirinath National Park

Sirinath National Park is a very beautiful area covered with different types of trees and mangroves. Apparently, this is why perennial turtles chose this place to continue their lineage. Every year, between November and February, a large number of turtles swim to the territory of these places in order to lay eggs. Do not attempt to actively interact with turtles or their nests, as this may result in a large fine!

International airport

This is another unofficial attraction. There are not many places around the world where you can swim and watch planes take off and land - one of them is in Phuket!

Hotels on Nai Yang Beach, Phuket (Thailand) and prices

Nai Yang Beach is not very popular among holidaymakers due to the fact that it is located quite far from the main tourist areas, but so much the better for those who love a relaxing holiday. You can, in principle, rent a hotel room in Nai Yang for any budget.

There are five-star hotels, for example: Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, four-star hotels: L "esprit De Naiyang Beach Resort and three-star hotels: Nai Yang Beach Hotel.

Prices for beach apartments will depend on the season. During high season prices will be 100%. During the low season, prices can drop by up to 70%.

Restaurants and cafes on Nai Yang Beach

There are not many places where you can have a snack or dinner, compared to more visited areas, like Patong, for example. In hotel restaurants you will be offered a huge number of dishes from the best world cuisines, including Thai. In cafes on the street, the range of dishes will be more modest, and in a small cafe on Nai Yang beach itself, even less. Although, you can eat delicious food there, enjoying beautiful sunset to the sound of waves crashing on the shore, and the prices here will not be as steep as, say, in the restaurant of a hotel located in the south on the mountain.

Food prices on Nai Yang are slightly higher than the average prices on the island and will depend on the status of the place you choose.

Where is Nai Yang Beach (Phuket) on the map of Thailand

Nai Yang Beach is located in the northwest of the island. There is a park here and along the beach line there is road 4027, along which you can get to this place. In the north, there is a fee to enter the park (100-200 baht); you can park your car near the turnoff from the main highway.

Nai Yang Beach - calm and cozy beach Phuket. You can find it somewhere in the northwestern part of the island. This beach is not too big. Its length barely reaches 3 km. The sand under your feet resembles golden grains of sand, and the water sparkles with azure tones.

Description of the beach

This place is suitable for those who love silence and solitude - there are few tourists. And in the summer, for a whole hour of walking along the beach, you may not meet anyone at all. The most populated part of the beach is the central one; there are mini-markets, massage parlors, restaurants, bars and tour desks on the only street along the beach.

Entering the water, depth and waves

Entering the water is relatively quick, the depth increases after 10 meters, provided that there is no serious low tide today. During the monsoons, there are no strong waves in Nai Yang Bay; a coral reef protects the shallow waters from the elements. The entrance to the sea here is very gentle and sometimes the water goes tens of meters from the shore. When the tide is strong, you can forget about swimming altogether; you won’t reach the depths. Also, the southernmost part near the small island is full of rocks.

Sunbeds and shade

The northern and southern parts of the beach are almost completely deserted, but you can sit on the sand under the shade of trees. There are sun loungers with umbrellas on the shore. In the southern part there is generally a casuarina forest.

Infrastructure

For water activities, you can go kayaking or kitesurfing. In the vicinity of the beach there is the Wat Nai Yang temple, and for nature lovers there is a great opportunity to walk through the mangrove forests of the park. Like many other small beaches, Nai Yang is a refuge from civilization, the hustle and bustle of the city.

There is no one in the immediate vicinity shopping centers, no market squares, no business buildings, much less centers nightlife. You can have a snack in local coastal cafes or hotel restaurants. As the sun sets, life here comes to a standstill, and the beach becomes gloomy and deserted.

Only where the hotels are is there any movement. There are few hotels on the beach and they are all close to the shore. There are bamboo bungalows available. As I wrote above, the entire civilization is located in the central part: cafes, massage parlors, a couple of minimarkets, currency exchangers.

If you need 7/11, then you need to go to the neighboring highway, it’s about 15-20 minutes from the central part. Around the same place there is a Thai market open on weekends. Well, Phuket airport is just a 5-10 minute drive away.

Houses and hotels on the beach

Be sure to check for discounts or special offers on a great service. It will quickly and easily show you discounts in all existing systems reservations. In Asia, for example, there are a lot of offers on Agoda.com, which are much more profitable than the same hotels in the Booking.com system.

If you want to book a hotel here in advance or look for accommodation on other beaches, I have good rating and reviews.

How to find the beach

If you still decide to go there, then first a surprise awaits you. Only taxis go from there, no other public transport doesn't go there. Of course, if you have your own vehicle, then there are no special problems. You need to follow the signs and get onto the Thep Krasat Tri highway. From there, take Highway 402 to the beach.
