Population of the Shira Khakassia. Shira: entertainment and active recreation

Legends about amazing lake Shira. The ancients believed that this lake could cure any ailment - both physical and mental. Today we can say with confidence about the therapeutic effect of its waters, and increasingly they are becoming the main reason why Khakassia attracts tourists. Lake Shira warmly welcomes vacationers from every corner of the world.

Unique nature

The nature of Khakassia is extremely beautiful and diverse. Taiga mountains are adjacent to spacious meadows, deserts, clear rivers, and calm mirrors of reservoirs. There are salted ones in Khakassia, the total number of which reaches five hundred. Lake Shira is the most famous resort, tourist center and, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful places throughout Siberia. The taiga forests of Khakassia abound in game and birdlife, and the flora of the region is truly unique.

Geographical location

The Republic of Khakassia is located in Eastern Siberia on the left bank of the Yenisei River. It occupies a significant part of the Khakass-Minusinsk basin. One of the main reservoirs of the region is Shira: in terms of reserves of medicinal mineral moisture, this lake is the largest in the country. The reservoir is located 175 kilometers from the city of Abakan. With a relatively small area of 36 km 2, the 22-meter depth of Lake Shira (Khakassia) is truly impressive. The map shows that the lake is located in the steppe zone, and only its southeastern shore is partially covered with forests.

Climate

The climate in the republic is sharply continental: winters are cold and summers are very hot. In spring, strong winds rage here. Air humidity is average, precipitation is usually small.

Waters of Lake Shira

The main asset of the lake is its highly mineralized water. It began to be used for medical procedures back in the middle of the last century. Sulfide mud also has a unique healing effect. Combined with the mild steppe climate of Khakassia, the presence of mineral drinking waters makes Shira one of the most attractive resorts in Southern Siberia. The amazing nature for which Khakassia is so famous has no less effect.

Lake Shira: indications for use

The properties of Shire waters and mud are successfully used to treat the digestive system and gastrointestinal tract. It will also be useful to visit these places for those who have problems with the musculoskeletal system. One of the resorts located on the shore, which is called “Lake Shira,” has successfully proven itself in the treatment of patients with arthritis, polyarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. They treat fractures, non-healing injuries, wounds and many other diseases. Sanatorium treatment has a number of advantages, but you can also have a good rest and improve your health at tourist centers.

Resorts of Lake Shira

Those who decide to go to Lake Shira (Khakassia) will be greeted warmly and hospitably by recreation centers and boarding houses. List of most popular resorts, located on the banks of a healing reservoir, is constantly updated with new names. Today you can stay at several tourist bases. The most popular of them: “Lakes of Khakassia”, “Running on the Waves”, “Gostiny Dvor”, “Altyn Sus”, “ Sunny Beach"You can stay in comfort and coziness in a private house in one of the nearby villages.

For tent lovers

Not everyone likes to live in comfortable rooms. Some people prefer songs around the fire, the starry sky above, the voices of birds and the smells of steppe herbs that Khakassia generously gives. Lake Shira is ready to shelter camping tourists on its shores. They can be located on the southern, western or northern shore. The most popular among tourists has always been south coast, where there is no problem and you can easily get to the store.

The most desperate adventurers have chosen the northern coast: sparsely populated, wild, swampy in places, but incredibly beautiful and clean. Those who decide to relax on the banks of the Shira as a “savage” should remember the ban on parking closer than 50 meters from coastline.

What to take with you

And vacationers in boarding houses, and even more so “savages,” should think about means of protection against insects. When going to the northern shore, you will have to take care not only of stock fresh water, but also about firewood - it will not be possible to get it on the spot. It is worth stocking up on warm clothes, since at night it can be quite cold on the shore: the temperature even in the middle of summer can drop to +10 o C. However, a changeable climate is typical for these places. This is what Khakassia is famous for.

Rest. Lake Shira. What to do for tourists?

The shores of the lake are suitable for swimming. They are lined with sand, small stones, and pebbles. The bottom of the reservoir is flat, gently sloping, sloping down to the central part. The water is very clean and clear. Swimming season lasts all summer, but the water warms up completely only in July. On the banks of the reservoir there are several sports grounds, a volleyball field, and tennis tables. All equipment can be rented.

But passionate fishermen will have to take a break from their favorite activity - due to the composition of the water, there is practically no fish in the lake, as in most salt water bodies of the Republic of Khakassia. Lake Shira opens up great opportunities for those who love active recreation on the water: here you can ride water scooters and jet skis, catamarans and boats. You can diversify your leisure time with excursions to karst caves, in the Malaya Syya nature reserve. A wonderful adventure will be a visit to the famous mountain range Chests. The cave is located in an anomalous zone, so many people with a sensitive psyche either encounter ghosts there or suddenly acquire the ability to predict the future.

Another cave called “Vinogradovsky Proval” is located on the Syisky ridge. This is a former mine, the entrance to which was closed for a long time by a plug of ice and snow. Then everything melted, and a deep passage with a whole colony of long-eared bats was revealed.

Khakassia is one big museum of antediluvian culture. True, official science believes that all these are exclusively miracles of nature. It’s difficult to argue with this, and it’s not a rewarding task. And for those who are accustomed not to take their word for it, this article will bring not only aesthetic satisfaction. Beauty is beauty, but there are many mysteries and secrets here that have not yet been explained. I wrote about Lake Itkul earlier. Now it’s the turn for Itkul’s neighbor, Lake Shira.

Shira - a lake in the Shirinsky district of the Republic of Khakassia. Located in a shallow mountain depression, 340 km from Krasnoyarsk, 160 km from Abakan, to the station. The width is about 12 km.
The nearest settlement is the village. Pearl. The lake is surrounded by forest-steppe with soft outlines of distantfoothills The rare combination of dry steppe climate and lake air creates a unique, healing climate.

Few people know that there are many salt lakes in Siberia, so Shira is a salt lake, despite the fact that the small river Son flows into it from the east. Therefore, here the lake shore is a swampy lowland. The composition of lake water is slightly alkaline, sulfate-chloride, sodium-potassium,with high magnesium content. The salt content in the water varies throughout the lake, being highest in the central part.

These places have been thoroughly explored because the resort in Zhemchuzhny is a very popular balneological resort. Every year it is visited by thousands of tourists and those who come to improve their health. Here is what is written about this in the Brockhaus and Euphron encyclopedia: -
" The therapeutic effect on Sh. is obtained from climatic treatment, hydrotherapy and dietary treatment. The water of the lake is used to treat anemia, scrofula, English disease, chronic rheumatism, chronic catarrh of the stomach and intestines, chronic catarrh of the female genital area, menstrual abnormalities, general obesity, nervous diseases, male impotence, neuralgia, neurasthenia and chronic skin rashes."

But we are primarily interested in what remains behind the scenes of enthusiastic seekers of exotic landscapes. With great difficulty, under a heap of beach photo sessions, with the proper desire and perseverance, you can still discover amazing evidence of traces of an unknown civilization. Let's look at the surroundings of the lake, first through the eyes of aesthetes - romantics:

Most likely, “Ra” could not have happened here, as in the case of SamaRA.

There is something like this in the area picturesque place, the main attraction of which is the “Mushroom” stone. Such formations, according to the official version, are the result of solidification of igneous rock emissions, followed by weathering of softer rocks, which contained basaltic inclusions. Well... You can't argue with that.

The internal diameter of the “bath” is more than one and a half meters. The nature of the origin of such objects is quite clear and does not cause controversy. More often.

But looking at this complex, vague suspicions, willingly or unwillingly, begin to creep into the soul. It must look like the result of intelligent activity! Or maybe not just “similar”?

Yes, most likely it is solidified lava. But the feeling that this lava fell on something that was not just a pile of stones does not go away. Or is it just me that seems so?

Now let’s look at the megaliths, which do not raise any doubts among the Uchion people that our ancestors had a hand in them.

Menhirs exist all over the world, even on Kotelnichy Island in the Arctic Ocean. Their purpose has not been established to this day. And who needs it? In the south of France, for example, menhirs bring in millions in income from tourists who travel there from all over the world.

It is rightly believed that menhirs are traces of the life activity of a primitive man, a savage who did not know how to process stones, but on weekends he liked to have fun installing cobblestones weighing up to several tons on his butt.

These menhirs are located to the northwest of the lake, and are installed on top of a mound, which, of course, no one tried to excavate. It's a nature reserve, but what?

This is perhaps the most popular menhir among tourists, the “White Shaman”. It is believed that if you smear the top with sour cream, then ask for health and walk around three times, the shaman will certainly cure all ailments. Judging by the amount of sour cream, the quantity of which does not decrease during the summer season, the shaman must already be allergic to fermented milk...

This stele is located right in the village of Shira. It was as if a child was drawing the sun.

But the most interesting thing is that these are still slabs and blocks, which, although thoroughly destroyed, still have a clear man-made origin. The only one who seriously studies these objects is Associate Professor of the Siberian State Aerospace University Gennady Dmitrievich Kovalenko.

No comments needed. And why don’t those who love everything ancient Egyptian so much admire that it’s impossible to even insert a razor blade between the blocks of Shira? But this is so. We see masonry, and of the same quality as in Egypt and in South America. There are absolutely no gaps between the elements.

What do you think of the embankment? Did nature do this? Well, well...

But the most amazing thing is the analysis of sand and soil taken in the vicinity of the lake. This is a real sensation. Here's what the associate professor writes about it:

“Assuming meteorite impact, we found the presence of a significant amount of magnetic inclusions (magnetic sand) in the samples. But in the soil of the coastal part of Lake Shira, large fragments up to 20 mm of magnetic nodules were found, and bottom samples from the same area consisted of melted fragments, also possessing magnetic receptivity."
