I read a lot of reviews about the hotel, they were very mixed... but we arrived and realized that people are all different and have the same opinions. Believe me, the food is like at home and even tastier! The rooms are cleaned constantly and efficiently. Any requests at the reception are instantly fulfilled. One pool is specially cold, and the second is at 28-32 degrees, both with fresh water no bleach! The only drawback of the hotel is its own big beach not on a real bay, but a “bay”, but the problem can be solved. A real huge well-groomed free beach is 5 minutes by taxi for 5 dirhams, i.e. 100 rubles or 15 minutes of normal walking. Overall, the holiday was a success!!! We wish the same to you.

We vacationed with a young man from 02/11/18 to 02/17/18. Arrival: the drive from Dubai airport is more than an hour, despite the fact that there were no traffic jams or traffic lights along the way. The weather: excellent, it was moderately hot, +30. Hotel: generally not bad, quiet (except for Friday and Saturday, when the Indians came and had their Valentine’s Day out of some fear in our hotel! Because of this, the impression was that the hotel was a passageway, but by the evening everything was quiet and it got much better). Beautiful area, two swimming pools, heated and not, rooms are clean, not shabby. Every day they cleaned up, brought 2 bottles of water, coffee, tea, cream. Towels were also changed every day, 2 regular and one for the feet. Sea: it's a bay, so don't wait Cote d'Azur and big waves, for example. Of course, one thing can be said: in the morning and afternoon, approximately until 15.00, when the tide is high, it is quite possible to swim. One day it was quite good with us, the water was not dirty, and in principle warm, you can get used to it quickly. When the tide is low, that is, in the evening, the situation is the opposite: the sea and the beach itself seem quite dirty. But again, this is a bay, so it will be like that. There is not enough sand, which gives the impression of a bad shore. Food: ok, it could have been worse, but the problem was that sometimes they brought a menu, and sometimes there was buffet; They thought such changes were due to the fact that there were very few tourists. So the food from the menu was so-so, the buffet was better. As for the food: we ate in the dining room, so to speak, which was a restaurant, which meant that there were a bunch of strange people there who not only came to eat, but also to drink and smoke, which also gave the impression of a passageway. It's noisy and smoky, how can you relax and eat here? Excursions: took from the guide Ferhat, he speaks Russian, a good guide. We took an excursion to Dubai and had a choice of going up the Burj Khalifa ($115) or having dinner on the boat in Dubai Marina ($100). We took the second option, but we didn’t particularly like it, there were a lot of people and so the buffet turned into “hungry and angry tourists.” But the view is beautiful. True, such a walk will not take much time: you will ride around Dubai Marina itself for about 30 minutes, as it seemed to us, and it will not take you far. We liked everything else: Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Sail Hotel, Palm Jumeirah, all of this impressed us. It’s better not to travel from Umm al-Quwain on your own; taxi drivers charge a lot to take you to Dubai ($100 approximately, we spent that much on the entire excursion). Public transport also no. Also took free excursion to the Dubai market: as it turned out, this is jewelry, leather and fur. Expensive, but you can bargain well if you really need something from it. In the store with leather and furs, on the first floor you will be taken to souvenirs, where you can buy everything: magnets, figurines, oils and... Amazingly delicious dates. Regular, with nuts, in the form of candies. You should definitely take dates in the form of candies, they are really tasty. As for the nearby places from the hotel: there is nothing except a gas station with a Burger King and a small supermarket, and a fish market. There is an embankment next to the market, but it looks more like a fishing pier (although it is). There is a shopping center Lulu, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to it. There are ATMs and shops there, but we didn’t go there, tourists from our hotel told us. Overall I liked everything. But it would be better if the hotel became closed from strangers who are not vacationing in this hotel, and the beach, which needs to be put in order, if it gets better - only after that I would recommend this hotel. So, decide for yourself. Everyone have a good rest and great impressions!
