The room is clean, they are cleaned every day, if you put a “do not disturb” sign on the door, it will be so, but as soon as you remove it, even at 5 pm, the room will be cleaned! I have never seen anything like this anywhere.
breakfast at the hotel is from 6:00 to 10:00, usually the same every day, but there is plenty to choose from, everything is fresh. I advise you to take a closer look at the waffles and especially with maple syrup - they are incomparable!
There are two water slides on the territory, which not only children will appreciate! It won’t be difficult to grab a sun lounger by the pool, there are always free ones, and the sea is just a minute’s leisurely step away.
If you want to rent a bike, I can recommend an excellent place in terms of price and quality.

We liked the hotel. We vacationed as a family with two small children. When booking, the travel agency immediately told us about the famous karaoke, and the voucher immediately indicated a preference for a quiet room. We chose a hotel primarily on Karon beach, first line. We liked Phuket Orchid Resort for its territory and pools with a variety of slides. this was important for a five-year-old child) they read some not very pleasant reviews about the room stock and were prepared for the fact that it was outdated. but we understood that we would only sleep there. In the end, they settled us on the first floor of building 3, family room. But despite everything, we liked the room. not the newest, but clean, we didn’t see any specific damage or wear. bed linen, towels are perfectly white, changed daily. the tip was left on the shelf - they didn’t take it until they put the money there, but in a mug) the staff is polite, always with a smile, and they wish you good morning and good night. We were in love with the balcony, we spent time there every evening, there were some insect attacks...

We were alone with our youngest son for two weeks. I really liked it. Convenient location, good-natured staff, compact accommodation of restaurants and swimming pools, and the proximity of the sea and a gorgeous, always clean beach ... very successfully complement the hotel. The menu in April is of course more sparse than the menu in March.... there is a small and not varied assortment of fruits, the set of dishes is always the same, but everything is very tasty and fresh. We found no difference between the two restaurants. Free drinks are the same as in the restaurant. The rooms were cleaned well. The magnificent pool and slides really suited the baby; dad ended up lounging on a sun lounger and only occasionally changed the child’s trajectory. I highly recommend it to all families traveling to Phuket. I'm afraid you'll like it.

We vacationed in April 2018, flying from Pegasus Nordwind. Great hotel, a lot of people. mostly foreigners, the sea is just a stone's throw away! Super delicious ice cream on the way to the beach! The vacation itself was booked from the Pegasus company, after arriving in Phuket, receiving our luggage, we were put on a bus, which took us to the hotel. Mostly families with children went to our hotel; the hotel is more family-friendly. Good impression checked in, we only waited about 10-15 minutes. We rested from January 10 to January 20, 2019, as a family, with children aged 17 and 10 years. I choose hotels based on reviews, including this site. So, thank you so much to everyone who wrote! You really helped me navigate and avoid mistakes. So I’m writing my review in the hope that our experience will help someone.
Territory. The hotel is large, beautifully decorated area, everything is clean and well maintained. Lots of flowers and flowering trees. There are no bad smells. Large and clean pools (we watched them being cleaned every morning). Slides are an incomparable pleasure for children! Especially for those who are active and do not want to lie quietly on sunbeds. The slides are located in the shade, which is very correct; you can ride even during the day, in the heat. The water in the pools was swallowed, no one got sick.
Breakfasts. Good, filling. There is a corner of Thai cuisine, there are European dishes. Omelettes and scrambled eggs are fried right there. Potatoes, noodles, sausages, sometimes meat, fish. Baked goods - donuts, pancakes, waffles, croissants. There are breakfast cereals and milk. Fruits include papaya, pineapples, watermelons and sometimes bananas. Even at rush hour there was always a free table. There were drinks like hibiscus (I really liked it) and herbal teas.
Cons. The drinks are vaguely reminiscent of juice, rather powdered. Tea is a disappointment. One tea bag (regular tea bag!) is brewed in a liter teapot. Hmmm... We are used to brewing a bag for one cup, or two, at most. It is impossible to call what was in the teapot tea; the water is the color of tea. Fortunately, you could drink tea in the room (again, there were four of us, and there was always only tea, coffee, sugar and water for two people). Coffee - so-so. There is no children's menu. Lunch boxes (breakfast in a bag for those who leave early) are meager. Boiled eggs and milk are, of course, healthy. But peeling an egg on the road, washing it down with milk, is somehow not very good. What remains is a sandwich and a tangerine with a cupcake. They don’t seem to be hungry, but the breakfast was paid for normally, in full, but here...
Number. We lived on the first floor of the sixth building, overlooking the garden. Silence, birds singing, once we even saw a long snake crawling. But there are a lot of mosquitoes. On the first night we decided to sleep, inhaling the southern aromas (and the air there cannot be described in words). The child was bitten so that no living thing was visible. The fumigator (neither ours nor the local one) did not help. So it’s better to close the balcony door. Refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, kettle - everything worked properly. The renovation is not new, but everything looks decent. Our room had two huge two-meter beds, white, clean linen. There was no smell of dampness. The lighting in the room is rather dim in the evening. There is a place on the balcony for drying things, but we also took our own rope, which came in handy.
Cleaning is normal, without zeal. We washed our feet and shoes from sand in the fountain by the pool, so we didn’t have any problems with sand in our room. The main thing is that the towels were changed daily, because... they don't dry there. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap - all in liquid form, regularly topped up.
Cons. Several times during cleaning the towels were not provided. For example, they will put four white ones, but three orange ones (beach ones) or three small ones. Several times I ran to the maids to get the required number of towels, because... I didn’t want to pay fines for loss or “theft.” Be careful.
I already said about water, tea, coffee and sugar that they are issued only for two. Dishes (cups, spoons) are also only for two people. In my opinion, a clear minus. After all, the “Family Room” category is not designed for a couple, but for a family! The expenses are not large, more of the “attention” category.
Location. Quiet area, no fuss. Young people will be bored. For families with children - just right. The beach is wonderful. The sea is clean. The waves were quite powerful. Further to the left, where the rocks are, there is excellent snorkeling, a lot of fish. Market, cafes for every taste and budget. It’s close to the sea, but you definitely need to cross the road. This is where problems arise: they do not give way to pedestrians. Hold your children's hands. Very dangerous.
How the hotel is guarded remains a mystery to me. At first glance - no way! There are no bracelets, like in Turkey, no books, like in Spain, and even more so, no checkpoints, like we have. At breakfasts they sometimes noted who was from which room, but no one ever asked for confirmation (a document or a key, for example).
Entertainment. Musicians sang almost every evening; their repertoire included not only popular songs from all over the world, but also several songs in Russian. It was nice. Groovy guys. Children's animation took place in the children's pool, on English. By 10 pm the noise gradually died down. By the way, it’s also quiet during the day. Music by the pool was played after 16.00.

The hotel is great!
I put more emphasis on the disadvantages so that the hotel administration could work on them if possible. Otherwise, everything is great. The staff is polite and attentive. The toilet was clogged - they even came late in the evening and cleaned it. We forgot the key in the room and slammed the door - they helped open it.
Finally, a few notes that are not directly related to the hotel itself.
Hotel guides. Ramina is a cunning fox. They wrote about it, I won’t repeat it. We lost two days (the first was the meeting itself and these pseudo “masks”, the second was a “sightseeing” tour of the island that showed nothing). She lied and didn’t blush that they no longer carry you shopping, that their excursions are cheaper than in agencies on the street. Oh, and he knows how to cloud his brain! Go away and don't listen. Or then bite your elbows like we do.
Sunburn. Dear parents, please apply sunscreen not only to your children’s shoulders and backs, but also to their faces! Faces! How many children walk around with bloody burn marks on their foreheads and noses! Take care of yourself too. The sun is very aggressive. The creams there are expensive. If you don’t mind paying 800-1000 rubles per tube, buy it there. Many people buy tunics made of thin fabric with hoods and long sleeves (250-300 baht, bargain), they protect from the sun, dry quickly, and are not hot in them.
Nutrition. There are no dishes in the cafe for less than 100 (okay, 99))) baht, plus a drink. In total, for a family of four, one meal (the simplest, no frills) cost about 700 baht. Ice cream (delicious!) 70 baht. Fruits: mangoes from 50 baht per kilogram, pineapples 40 baht per piece. In short, it's not cheap. A few days later, we started buying noodles (pad thai) and rice from the “makashniks”, for an average of 80 baht per serving (one serving was enough for us for two). They cook before your eyes, the food is thermally processed. Never got poisoned. We bought water, juices and various small things at the 7/11 store. There is a market on Kata Beach. They cook fresh seafood over coals. Prices are much cheaper than in cafes. Lobster - only 700 baht (versus 1200 in a cafe).
Massage. ABOUT! This is bliss! We went to a salon where the masseuses wore purple T-shirts. I'm ready to come there again for a massage! (Just kidding, not just for that. Thailand is beautiful!)

Everything for children: food, playground, crib, nanny, swimming pool, mini-animation, etc. The food is good and the service is good, they try. This hotel is very popular among Scandinavians. All rooms are furnished with new furniture, nothing is stuck together, everything is in working order. The room also has satellite TV and air conditioning, so you can regulate the air temperature yourself. There is also a refrigerator containing still water; it is provided free of charge and replenished daily. There is also an electric kettle or coffee maker, as well as all facilities for making hot drinks. For each room, two sets of towels are provided: a standard set for the shower and one more so that the guest can use it on the beach. The bathroom is very comfortable, there is a shower or bath. A set of mini-cosmetics is changed daily, there are slippers and an electric hairdryer. The air conditioner and refrigerator do not make excessive noise. There is a safe for valuables. We had a family holiday in this hotel in October 2017. The weather is great. The hotel is simply surrounded by greenery, stunning beauty. It's a paradise for children, lots of pools and slides. Everywhere is very clean. The hotel staff cleans and washes the area all the time. Breakfast at the hotel is good, not Turkish, but still very decent. 5 minutes walk to the sea, across the road. Hello. I vacationed in this hotel with my husband and eight-year-old child. We chose a hotel with some kind of children's entertainment. The choice settled on Karon Beach. We read many reviews that in March the sea is calm and clean. The beach was really very pleasing, even despite the lack of sun loungers, showers and toilets. Check-in was quick and the room suited us. We lived in building 4. The furniture is not new, shabby in places, but everything is clean. Cleaning is regular. Breakfast is ok. This hotel is suitable for both those who just want to lie on the beach or near the pool, and those who want to spend time actively. After our vacation, we were left with only a positive impression, even considering the prices.

We stayed at the hotel in March 2016 with children aged 16 and 7 years. This was our 5th trip to Phuket. I really liked the hotel. Well-groomed green area, two excellent swimming pools, one of them has slides, which both children and adults enjoyed riding on. There is a lifeguard at the pool, wonderful guys - operators - work on the slides. So that parents can relax calmly and not worry about the safety of their child on the slide. In another pool they do exercises and play water polo with an animator. The beautiful Karon beach is a 5-minute walk away. The breakfasts suited us quite well, tasty and varied. We're not particularly picky, but you definitely won't go hungry here. We had a room in building 5 overlooking the pool. Everything worked in the room, they cleaned it well, they even washed the floors. In the evenings there is live music on stage. We even sang a couple of Russian songs! At approximately 10:30 p.m. the music program ended and there was silence. In general, we will return to this wonderful hotel with great pleasure! Thanks to the hotel staff for our wonderful stay!

Good day everyone. We stayed at the Phuket Orchid Hotel in March of this year. We had a great time. We liked absolutely everything. In general, it’s very surprising to me why the hotel has only three stars. It deserves at least five stars! The hotel consists of several four-story buildings, there are five or six of them. Very beautiful, well designed. The rooms themselves are also very good. The furniture is normal, although not new. Nothing is damaged, everything works. There were no problems. The territory is good, beautiful, well-groomed. There are slides for children, and for very little ones a pool with slides. Cleaning every day. Very high quality. Everywhere is clean and has a pleasant smell. The food is good. There was only breakfast, the food was good, there was always a choice. I recommend this hotel for families with children, it’s cool there. And there are few such hotels! Thanks everyone for a great holiday. We will definitely come back here again.
